Do you think Ash should enter Contests?

As we all know Ash has entered Pokemon Contests before. Since he is an aspiring Pokemon Master, do you think he should leave the contests to Dawn and stick to the Gyms? I'm undecided... what do you think?

Ps. Aipom is pretty awesome in contests! lol
 
No. Ash entering Contests would render Dawn completely useless. Ash already has Gyms, there's no need for him to do both plots in the show.

He already said he didn't plan to enter anymore Contests anyway, so this is a moot point. They only had Ash battle May in a Contest for the climax of AG and the D/P Contest was just for Aipom.
 
I don't think so. It would get really repetitive having BOTH Ash and Dawn in contests. Every once in a while is okay, but not every contest.
 
I actually would like to see him do them now and then, just for something different from Ash, though I'd rather it be Brock. Yeah, it'd be too repetitive if it was a regular thing, but every now and then would be a treat for me.
 
I have no desire to see Ash in another contest. He's competed against May once and Dawn once, there's no need to milk the gimmick by sticking him in another one. Now, maybe Brock could enter one more contest... with Croagunk. :D Should Misty get another cameo, I'd quite like to see how she does in one, too.
 
I liked him doing contests so if he does some more that would be neat if not I won't cry about it I like him in gyms just fine.
 
I don't think Ash is fit for contests. Even though he might be good, battling is more his style and if Ash and Dawn compete in a contest toeghter do you really think Dawn will win aganist Ash?
 
Dawn has had regular training matches against Ash and she's held her own against his Turtwig, at least. I think she battled against Aipom too but I don't remember if she did exactly, I forget.

If Ash used Pikachu or any of his old Pokemon Dawn would be toast, but right now Dawn's Pokemon are about equal strength to Aipom and Turtwig. Hell, Buizel even defeated Pikachu before she caught it!
