Do you think Ash will start to get well known in contests soon?

I remember in that AG episode no one in the contest fan base knew who Ash was back than and that was cuz he wasn't in any than. But now he's been in a few, think he has any fans now?

You mean if "Contest fans" in the Pokémon world care about Ash? I doubt it... all Ash did is one unofficial Contest in Kanto and 2 official Contests in Sinnoh
I don't think it's enough for people to remember him, or at least for people to really care

No, not really. He doesn't appear in them enough I think to have a fanbase like Dawn and Jessie would have.

I think a few people would remember him from the Wallace cup, but other than that I doubt that many people who do contests know about him unless they also are into battles.

He did some impressive moves in the Wallace cup.
You'd think people would remember him.

Well, he must have if he got futher than May or Dawn even did in the charts.

At the end, they show who has passed or not and Ash was at the very top pass May and Dawn and even Zoey.
Heck, Wallace was really impressed with it.

Those are in order? (Can you get me a line saying this for DP contests?)

Even then, Wallace told him to enter because he liked its power to begin with (prior to the Wallace Cup) and that was just the appeal, Ash never showed any multitude of combinations like the others did in the battle rounds.

Plus he went out in the Top 8. There's 4 others to idolise (who are better than him at contests) and the others who achieved top 8. I doubt anyone really thinks "Hmm, I wonder what happened to that one guy?".

It looked like it was in orderXD
Meh he went out cuz he lost to some other guy in battle.
He still needs to learn a few things here and there in contests.
Any who, I'm not gonna debate on that. The topics about whether or not people in contests are fans of him yet? Maybe a few more. I mean, you do bring up a good point though. On another subject, it puzzels me how no one still has no clue as to who he is. How is that?

He only entered 3 contests. One of them was an unnoficial one even. I doubt he has a fanbase the size of Drew's or Dawn or another actual coordinator.

Plus, he already has fans in terms of battling. :p

I doubt Ash will get involved in contests again. He's a battle trainer; contests just aren't his style. Besides, so far there's been no indication that there will be contests in Isshu.

Why would he? He's really only competed in two official contests.

Yet, his Wallace Cup and Jubilife appeals were decent, and he did great jobs in battling in the battle rounds.

Who knows, I might he proven wrong.

I doubt it. Ash only entered 3 contests (if memory serves me right). Ash is more well-known for his gym/league battles anyway.

Nope. The only reason he knows contests is because his traveling buddies constantly mention it.

No, but he probably will countinue to appear in contests i.e. He'll appear in a contest in BW
