Do you think PBR will be compatible with HG SS?

Before you say NO WAY, I should remind everyone that Pokémon Colosseum came out a year before FireRed and LeafGreen and both of these were compatible with Pokémon Colosseum and allowed you to see the trainers as well.

If these upcoming games are compatible and the trainers are somewhere on the PBR disk, this would mean that they planned this before D/P were made since a PBR compatibility would automatically give a D/P/Pt compatibility.

Finally, if everything will be compatible, why is it that hackers never found sprites of the HG & SS trainers in the current GIV games?

yes I think it will. And I was going to use the same argument with Colosseum as you did.

Yeah, it probably will. I think that these games have been in development long enough for Nintendo to recognize it and plan PBR for their inclusion. Though it may have to be updated ala Pokemon Ranch if there's anything new to HGSS like with Shaymin's Sky Forme.

Wii games don't get DLC updates, only Wiiwares.

Yes, the Gold and Silver pokemon are already registered into the game's program. That is, assuming pokemon do not get additional forms in these games. Elements from Platinum (namely the formes), which were not introduced in Battle Revolution, have been skipped.

Have you ever tried battling with Pokemon's 152-251?

There you go.

Alright, then I guess since the monsters from R/S/E are in it, it means that I can hook up my old GBA to my Wii and import my monsters from there >_>

All that was said was that the Gold and Silver Pokemon are in the game, and you asked for proof of it.

No one said HGSS was confirmed to work with it >_>

Well you didn't read my topic properly, I never asked if the monsters from Gold and Silver were in PBR, I know they are.

Obviously new things like possible new forms and Notchy won't show up on PBR. Here's hoping they're making a new Stadium/Colloseum game..cause PBR could had been so much better. If GSDS bring new things to the table its the perfect time.

Also as to the Colloseum argument. Didn't FRLG already entered development while Colo was still in development itself? PBR and GSDS is a kind of different manner.

PBR was compatible with Platinum, I don't think it'd be any different with HGSS.

Though they obivously won't show the new formes introduced within HGSS (if there are new formes) and NEP as well as the Platinum formes. Also, they'll show the trainers as Lucas/Dawn rather than Gold/Kris.

Though Genius Sonority is making a console game in the works and it's most likely a Pokemon game seeing how 4 out of 6 of their games are part of the Pokemon series, so it will defintely have the new formes usable if said game is currently being made.

I would prefer that HAL Laboratory made a PKMN Stadium 3 instead. PBR has a nice presentation but lacks many features from the PKMN Stadium games as well as Genius Sonority's previous PKMN GameCube games.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's compatible with GSDS. Just the obvious, none of the new formes in it.

My hope is for this game to bring the best features of Colo and Stadium. That's why I'm not to fond and never payed much attention to PBR. @_@

Oh if only we'd get PBR2 that acts as Stadium 3... Gym Leader Castles for all four regions... ahhh...

Remixed battle music for all four regions would be even better in my opinion. -_^

Why not both? *_*

I still want my Colo RPG mixed with the awesomness of Stadium kind of game. Why can't they realize what made the last battler console game pure of win and start rolling with that? D=

Well Emerald worked with Colosseum too didn't it? And since D/P/P and HG/SS have a sort of same data structure, PBR will probably recognise it in the same way as D/P/P

I never used my Emerald on Colo, but I don't think May and Brendan's Emerald outfits could be seen in it. It recognizes the game, but not new physical differences in chacters, like PBR and the new forms.
