I would say that he most definitely put his name on the Sinnoh section of the map! He did a lot of things that other trainers could not do. He defeated Darkrai which was a feat that no other trainer or gym leader could do in all of Sinnoh. Even the last trainer in the SL lost all 6 of his Pokemon to Darkrai. Volkner was defeated for the first time by Ash and I bet that it’s safe to say that he was the only trainer to beat him. Takuto probably went to another gym besides Sunnyshore to get one of his 8 badges. Him and his friends were the Chosen Ones of legend to bond with the Lake Trio and ultimately save all of Sinnoh (and the whole world). Oh, besides Darkrai he made Takuto use more than 1 Pokemon so he beat 2 of his legendaries which is something no one else could do.

There are a lot of other things that he did, but I mean these are some of the highlights from his Sinnoh adventures. He did extremely well in the Wallace Cup and got recognition for Ice Aqua Jet, making it to the Top 8 with just one Pokemon and doing well overall in the Jubilife Contest for using his “battle” style rather than doing a style based on a coordinator’s. Not going to name anymore because there are too many, but list some that you think that he did to leave his mark in Sinnoh.

I doubt it. Anyone who doesn't win a regional tourmanet is seemigly ignored by people for the most part. Just like Dawn getting Top 2, only for no one to seemigly acknowledge it, or care. I doubt Ash will get any recognition.

That was all just for the sake of the generation so they can try to make good episodes out of them. He might brag about things like he usually does in Isshu but that's probably it.

I hope he's famous due to what happened in the league, he beat nearly two legendarys, come on!

Only guy to take down Darkrai AND a second legendary from the DEM with legs, Takuto?

Hell yeah.

Isn't that obvious? I can't think of any other thing Dento is trying to do besides getting Ash's autography.

Maybe being a waiter and asking what would Ash order?

He really wasn't anything special.

Sure he was friends with the Dawn but almost everything else he did was most likely left a secret.

Isshu is far away from the other regions. I doubt the little he did in Sinnoh would affect him in Isshu. He's not Hasselhoff and Isshu isn't Germany.

He might have picked up some fame in Sinnoh, but when he gets to Isshu it is so far away nobody will notice and Ash will kinda be... just another trainer. He needs to be like Cynthia and walk around with a Garchomp. People seem to notice you more when you walk around with a Garchomp.

Probably would know him as just another one of the Top 4. But once he gets to Isshu, people would probably think he's just a window washer. Though some have stated Dento seems to be fan-boying over him.

Yeah I think Ash will be pretty well known in Sinnoh, but not in Isshu since it's far away.

And I still don't think Dento was asking for Ash's autograph.

As intense as DP was, I REALLY REALLY hope that they don’t start Ash off as a rookie trainer again like in DP. Pikachu beat Regice, but tied with Elekid. Now the mouse tied with a legendary Dragon/Psychic type so I hope they don’t take lv. 70 or so Pikachu and downgrade it back to like lv. 15 again.

Has mark left his mark in Sinnoh, yeah.

But c'mon, you know in the back of your head that the first thing Pikachu will do in Sinnoh after beating the Legendary Latios is... struggle in a battle with a rookie trainer that's using a Mamepato...

Yeah for sure, I've been feeling that sort of vibe ever since I saw the previews for the new series. It is just a waste, I would rather have a new trainer take Ash's place rather than have Ash/Pikachu brought all the way down to level one again.

By the way, is the trainer with the blonde hair with the grass starter seem to be the new rival for Ash? I mean I noticed that when I saw the trailer, and I was just wondering what other people thought. He looks a bit like Paul, but does anyone else have an opinion on this?

Actually, no, it's not obvious. Remember Max's debut?
I really could imagine Dento is asking things like this in that scene: "What do you think, about Takuto? Isn't he the best, to capture x Legendary? How did it felt like, to lose to him? It wasn't that bad, right? I mean after all he's the strongest Trainer in world!". Or maybe that scene is right after Ash introduced himself (Hi, I'm Ash, from Palette Town.) and Dento is asking him about Kanto Pokemon.

However I hope you're right. Ash really deserves to have at least 1 fan after all he accomplished.

Over the course of the series, he was recognized by some people for being in the Hearthome Tag Battles I forgot to mention that earlier.

That would be the worst fan ever to ask those kinds of questions.

Yup, that's how Barry knew him LOL. I am hopping though that Dento's asking him a lot of crazy fan questions, like some said he deserves some fans too >>

You misunderstood me. I said, that scene could be like Max's debut, where he recognized Ash not as a Top8 of the Silver Conference, but as "the one who lost in the second round." Right now we have know idea, if Dento really is a fan of Ash, or he recognize him just, because he battled Takuto, who's his real ideal, or he isn't interested in either of them, and only super-curious about the place where Ash came from.

However I really hope, I'm wrong about his introduction being a Max 2.0 version, and he really is Ash's fan.
