After learning more about the Elite 4, do you think that Ash may go back to challenge his home region once again in the hopes of beating the Kanto Elite 4 or perhaps become champion of Kanto?
I think that it would make the Indigo Plateau competition more interesting than his first go-round for the title of league champion. The first time was bad (compared to the Hoenn/Johto leagues), but then again some rules weren’t introduced in the series at the time; changing Pokemon without them being eliminated, the trainers actually commanding their Pokemon instead of just attacking on their own, Pokemon with status conditions not being eliminated (Squirtle was sleeping and was counted out), Ash’s team actually listening to him (referring to his Charizard), and TR selling their stuff instead of interrupting the competition.
Not to mention the new Pokemon that the gym leaders would have that could give Ash a great battle. You know it would be nice to see him actually earn his 8 Kanto badges in battle rather than pity or fighting TR. He may also challenge some new Kanto gyms like Gary beat 10 and was going to Viridian for his 11th badge. He could also fight Misty again!! This time it could be a really great battle. He may also use some of his originals and may get his Primeape/Pidgeot (and possibly Butterfree) once again it would be cool to see their new techniques. Especially Primeape who has been in P1 training since season one, there is no telling how strong it is now in actual combat.
