But they had very few screen time in movie 8 as guardian and they appeared in the anime under Brandon's control so not much is know about their natural way.We got to know more about them.I guess they would act naturally if Regigigas is around.
 
Realistically...they'll just gloss over the whole "you need Regice/steel/rock before you can get Regigas" thing. Especially since these three legendaries have already gotten plenty of screentime already.
 
I hope not. Three unrelated Legendaries is already enough for a movie! @_@ Plus they want to fit Dialga and Palkia in somehow as well.
 
I'd also like to add that if they don't appear, that also goes against the theory people had about Brandon coming back for some reason.
 
Well, if the 3 known Regis don't appear in this upcoming movie, how will Regigigas be summoned? If they make some stupid invention that awakes the slow and steady beast instead of the known requirement, that both disposes the fact that the 3 Regis are needed as "sacrifices" and causes complaints from many people and me.

Maybe the Regigigas is in the alternate dimension? For all we know there are a bunch of Regigigas (Mewtwo aside, what Legendary doesn't have multiples of itself in the anime?) and they don't all need to work like the ones in the game.
 
I hope so, we may even get Brandon. HE MAY EVEN TALK HE'S YELLING THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE!

The legendary concept was supposed to show a one-of-a-kind Pokémon, but the writers screwed it all with the Whirl Islands mini-arc.
But aside from Lugia, Deoxys and Lati@s, there is no proof every other legendary has multiples of itself.
The Articuno from Movie 2, the one from the Johto mini-arc and the one with Noland could easily be the same. It goes to every other legendary who had appeared more than once in the anime.
 
Seeing how i highly doubt the gang's going to make it to Snowpoint by July I'm sure the movies not taking place where Regigigas is in the games, meaning you don't necessarily need the other 3.

Given the size differences and locations of those Articuno I can't imagine there isn't more than one of them. Also there's no evidence Mew from movie 1 and Mew from movie 8 are the same, especially given the Movie 8 version's home (A big tree in Hoenn rather than random wandering) and transformation habits. Also we know there are multiple Regis already.
 
I want to see Regigigas be a literal king and have several of the "lesser" Regis under its control.

As for what will really happen, I doubt they'll appear.
 
I was watching movie 7 today on youtube and it said something along the lines of:
"what would a rayquaza be doing in LaRuosse?..."
Toris mother was refering a legendary as a species by saying a.

The Regis have had two much screentime and we need enough space for the other 5 legendaries.

Quick idea: Regi's are in the movie, but as minor characters, because they are sacrificed (as in the give up their own lives) and fill up Regigigas' 6 marble/dot things, causing Regigigas to rise. Follows the game (sorta), and the regi's aren't a major part of the movie.

Though I haven't really thought of how the regi's would get there...

Size differences? If there was any, I'm sure it wasn't that huge of a difference. And they don't necessarily need to stay at their islands, nothing forbids them to travel.

it doesn't matter what they say, if the writers don't give us a proof (such as they gave with Deoxys), nothing will be gospel. I'm going by the games, which have only one of each legendary, and that's what's supposed to be the truth.

Yeah, I believe that Jirachi is the only excuse to create stupid invention but 1000yrs is a long long time.So it would be the normal one:A villain caught the three Regis with Magnezone and sacrified them.

Oh, I would like it to be:4 Regis kill the villain together, and then 4 Regis VS Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and Shaymin!A 4 VS 4 Battle!

This isn't Duel Monsters, you know. The Regi's don't have to be sacrificed, they just need to be present.
