Do You Think That The Sinnoh Grand Festival Will Last More Than Three Episodes ?

Now, that Dawn has four ribbons (as of the latest Japanese Episode). I thought it would be a good time to now ask (and speculate) if others thought what I've been thinking?

Do you think that Sinnoh Grand Festival will last more than three episodes?

I'm asking because both the Hoenn and Kanto Grand Festival were only three episodes and in Sinnoh we'll have Dawn, Zoey, Kenny, Nando, Jessie (maybe), and hopefully Urara in the Grand Festival.

That's six characters and not enough screentime for three episodes. I believe that the Sinnoh Grand Festival can last five episodes this time (I hope).

So what do you think?

The Wallace Cup was only 3 episodes, and it had May, Dawn, Ash, Zoey, Jessie and Kyle competing, which is 6 characters.

Even if Jessie lost the appeal round, its still 5 characters.

Kyle wasn't really that important character...
And you just gave another reason why the GF should and might be longer than three episodes- if the Wallace Cup who is just a regular Contest even if "special" could be 3 episodes (or 5 if you count the preparation episodes) why would the GF will be equal to it?

If Jasmine and or Fantina show up for the Grand Festival I can imagine it being longer.

Yet, 4 of her contests this season were only 1 episode each. The two that she lost the appeal round, and the one with Yuri and the Gabite girl were also only in one episode.

Back in Hoenn all of May's contests were 2-parters except for Harley's debut contest and the first one where she lost to Drew.

I don't think the Grand Festival will be more than 3 eps. They could have given the Wallace Cup 4 eps and extended the battles a bit but they chose not to.

There will be 3 episodes. I am sure.

1 episode - appealing round.
2. episode - second appealing round and first rounds of double battles
3 episode - final double battles.

It doesn't matter how many characters we wiil see there. It is obvious we won't see them battling. We will see battles with Dawn, her loss to Zoey and at the final in flashback Nando winning over Zoey.

^ I agree. Nando is bound to get very little screentime if he shows up, I'll doubt we'll even see any of his battles, much like Robert and Solidad.

I think it will be more that 3 episodes this time because the anime is focusing more on Dawn than the other girls(Misty/May).

It still doesn't explain why Dawn's current contest arc is getting less episodes at the moment.

The last two Contests have only been 1 ep each, which is odd, since they could have been easily 2-parters.

I suppose the GF could go on longer, but I'm not expecting it cause I know they won't do it and they'll just rush all the battles in the last ep like always.
