Do you think they'll change the Elite 4?

In the original GS, the Elite 4 was severely under-leveled. They really need to fix this and raise them all to using Level 60-70 Pokemon.

Also, the Elite 4 of Johto re-used old Kanto Elite's, like Bruno and Lance, and Koga was promoted.

Do you think they'll try to shake up the Elite 4 this time and make it unique (like Hoenn and Sinnoh Elite 4's have all new characters) or keep it the same?

Well since the Elite 4 is STILL IN Kanto, no, I don't think it will be unique from the Kanto Elite 4.

Change the human characters? Nah, no need.

But heck yes they need to make the E4 actually competent. The Johto E4 is absolutely pathetic; the game's ease in general is a huge flaw. The Pokémon themselves will probably stay the same like they how the Kanto E4's Pokémon in FR/LG were the same as their Gen 1 Pokémon, though. I'd bet the Pokémon would change after a certain point like they did in FR/LG too; possibly after beating Red?

They really won't do much until the 2nd battle-through like they did in FR/LG. What I'd like is more information on what happened to the other E4 members and why the hell Lance ended up as the champion.

I dont think they'll change the people. But if they Koga, we'll get new Janine artwork, no?

Also, all Im expecting is a level upgrade and maybe a few new Pokes, like in Platinum.

i would like to see the levels of the e4s pokes be higher...they are barely in the 40s in Gold and Silver...but overall i dont think there will be too much change

Agreed. Levels and Movesets will change, but the Pokemon & people will most like stay the same. I'm okay with that, since they have 5 or 6 pokemon each, whereas with the Gyms it's gonna suck if they still have so many Gym Leaders with 2 Pokemon!

In that vein, I think the changes they make to the gyms will be more important. Perhaps some of the gyms will receive new puzzles and whatnot as well.

If Karen or Will are gone, I'm gonna rage infinitely. For that matter, I'd prefer Koga and Lance to stay in too.

I really hope they don't tamper with the human characters.

And guys, if Kanto is still in, they will need to remain nerfed so Kanto remains a challenge. Unless they increase all their levels too, of course.

Lance challenged and defeated Red. After losing Red decided to go train at Mt. Silver until he was powerful enough to reclaim his title. As for changing the E4, I don't see them changing any members. They will surely update their teams, though. Considering all the other shit they have changed and added so far. An upgrade to the E4 seems more likely than most things at this point.

I guess hoping for a Johto and a Kanto league is not longer of any use. *sigh* yes, levels and movesets will change. I also expect rooms to change a little. Not much else.

Why did Bruno have lava in his room?

Because he is just awesome like that.

Bring their levels up to Hoenn levels atleast. I don't see the point in making them weaker than Kanto leaders. When you're a chamption your not even supposed to have that much trouble against gym leaders, so whatever.

Besides, maybe people will want to pull an Ash and start off fresh in Kanto (doubt it)

I just thought Red didn't want the active role as champion, and when the Elite 4 was completely rearranged with new members, that Lance challenged them and became their champion.

I always wish they would say where Lorelei and Agatha went after they apparently left the Elite 4.

Unless they did and I've forgotten. Does anyone know?

Agatha has had no reference outside of her generation. Because Lorelei has qualms about not being home during the Rocket incident, I assumed she quit to protecct her home.

I think Koga and Bruno will get axed.
Outside of that and a level-up, I imagine everything will remain the same.

Wh..What? No Koga and Bruno?

As much as I hate Bruno and his Machamp of Doom and his subterranean Hitmontop, I don't think they'll get axed. Who would replace them? Would Koga go back to his gym and we would pretend Janine/Charine never happened?

I really don't think the actual people will change, only the Pokemon, possibly, and for sure the levels will be highered. I think it's even possible for the rooms to be changed.

All they will do is edit the levels. I would like to see new people for the elite four. (I don't own G/S/C but I am familiar with the elite four in it.) Koga, Bruno and Lance could be replaced but game freak isn't going to. It's a remake not a 5th generation game.

REMAKE.

They're not changing the people. Due to FRLG keeping the same levels even as RGB, though, I wonder if they'll up the Elite levels, or if they'll just wait for a rechallenge activation for that.

"I'd like to see new people" well Gen V is THAT-A-WAY. *points to 2011* You'll get your new people in FIVETOH. I like the old people we have.
