Do you think Tracey will ever get a new Pokemon?

For no reason at all, I just remembered that Tracey hasn't had a single new capture since Scyther back in Orange. Now, I know Tracey is a relatively minor character who we only see like once every 100 episodes, but even Misty got a few new Pokemon since she left the show, (Azurill, Gyarados, Luvdisc), and I'm sure May will have at least evolved Eevee next time we see her, but what about Tracey?

I always wondered why Venonat never evolved, and I also figured as we made the transition into Johto that Scyther would become a Scizor, but that never happened either. And...he hasn't captured anything that we know of. What do you think, is Tracey doomed or what?

I'd go with doomed.

The poor bastard is going to rot at Oak's forever. It's sad really since he actually had more purpose than Brock did. I could have seen Oak sending him with Ash to sketch new Pokemon to fax back to him. All Brock is is Ash's cook and ref and someone to go after the ladies.

So Tracey: No new Pokemon for you.
 
Tracey gets to take care of Pokemon everyday. He shouldn't get more little bastards running around. But I'd like him to have a Scizor, or maybe Azumarill to take advantage of it's Huge Power, though it'll never battle.

what's sad is that Kenji seems to appear more often than Kasumi now. Hell, he's even featured in a number of openings alongside Ookido, including the current one.

Though, since I seem to be bringing up the "Masara Trio" (as I'll call them), I guess another question would be whether or not Hanako will get another Pokemon (assuming you count Bari-chan as a "capture" in the first place), and whether or not we'll see any more Pokemon that Ookido apparently already owned (like his Lizard in the 4th movie or his Kairyuu in the Mirage Pokemon special), if not see Ookido make a new capture altogether (like that Poppo he got in a late Jouto filler).
 
I think he kept his pokemon as they were up to the point we see them because he simply liked them. Venonat was too close to him in order to trigger Tracey evolving him, and the same with Marill. I can see Scyther becoming Scizor, and I can see Tracey acqurring a Smeargle to aid him in his drawing.

Heh, I agree. I found it pretty funny that Tracey was in the last AG episode in Ash's house and Misty wasn't. The writers haven't showcased Misty now in over 100 episodes, whereas Tracey was last seen in the last AG ep and the first D/P ep, and is featured in the D/P opening.

I don't think they're making Tracey more important than Misty though, he just gets shown more since he gets the benefit of being with Oak when he makes a cameo. Misty isn't really all that important anymore, so I actually expect her to make less cameos in D/P than she did in AG, simply because there aren't really any loose ends with her character anymore like there was at the end of Johto. Of course, I still fully expect her to get more new Pokemon whenever she does show up while Tracey doesn't. :/

Akagi probably has a god complex regardless of how his plans go. The only way for Kenji to really convince him otherwise is to hurl forth a Monster Ball and have it fly through the air before releasing Strike, who'd proceed to slice off a good chunk of Akagi's cheek.

(hey, a 300 reference without a quote. Who'd have thought it possible? XD)

All Tracey got is Misty.XD

He we special enough to be in hosos but not enough to get new pokemon.lol
