Do you think Xy will have a new animation style or will it stay the way it is like in BW?

For the most part, no. I expect them to continue the trend from BW. The art for Ash makes his eyes less obvious, though. Did they compromise the old and new design?

I haven't watched every BW episode, but... Is it just me or are Ash's iris...es (?) getting smaller like every day? (What was the plural for 'iris' again?)

I just hope that they dont go all CGI but i think the BW style will stick

Ash irises seem thinner than in BW, but so far everything is looking the same as it was in BW. I appreciate the update BW brought to the table, but we don't need to see the style changed every series.

It will most likely be the same as it was in Best Wishes, with bad CGI effects for the moves and an overuse of stock footage.

Also, is it just me, or has the anime's coloring been getting brighter and brighter with each generation, has anyone noticed that before?

It doesn't seem that way with the picture of Satoshi that we got.

Agreed with 97SaturnSL1 and MizuTaipu here. I suspect XY will use the same animation style as BW from the little we've seen. Ash's eyes are a good indication of that so far, IMO.

Every new series has brought new animation styles (the less difference was between AG and early DP), so I'm hoping to see something new.

If not necessarily a strongly different character design (Ash, Oak and Jessie's were enough and maybe too much change in BW), I'm hoping for different background animation and drawing. I don't want to see something like this again:

Seems like that wall of grass is a flat scenery cardboard that you would see in an elementary school stage play.

In the very next scene, the wall of grass turns into a grass painting on the floor. With sticker lawn and flowers.

We finally see the scenery as it has to be: just grass mounds on the sides on the road, and flowers actually popping out.

I hope these kind of thigs get fixed in the new series. I'm sure they have a good budgeting to do it, although I don't see them as greedy but rather somewhat lazy.
