Do you use the vending machine in the game? I do, it's very helpful at the start. How about you?

Yeah! If you don't mind the effort it takes, you get a good deal on healing items! 60hp for the same price as a regular potion? I'll just spam the A and down arrow keys while I watch TV or something :p

A mysterious boy in red clothes has spent the past three days in front of the top floor's vending machines. The only person who recognizes him was a travelling trainer asked after beating the Celadon city Gym, who claimed the boy in red was a loser. His Pokéballs, gym badges, and Pikachu indicate he is a travelling trainer of some sort too.
He seems to have spent already over 20000P in a mix of Lemonade and Fresh Water. When asked about his money, name or anything, he didn't seem to give any spoken response, just a nod.

Does anyone like vending machines? Well, these people sure do!

We already talked about this guy emptying the figurine machines, but it seems the vending machines on the lower floor have found a challenger too!

A mysterious girl with blue hair has spent the past three days in front of the top floor's vending machines. Her Pokéballs, gym badges, and Pokémon indicate she is a travelling trainer of some sort.
She seems to have spent already over 20000P in a mix of Lemonade and Fresh Water. When asked about her money, name or anything, she didn't seem to give any spoken response, just a nod.

Repeat for every game. Including Lavacookies in RSE.

Though at least after a point you can reliably buy several cheap healing items at once

That always makes me feel great! But sadly, it hightens my expectations of soda machines outside the game, and I've never once gotten a bonus can of anything :I

Not really...

I don't trust vending machines in real life, and that extended to the games ever since I stated playing. I always avoid them.

And if that "bonus" thing happened to me, I would feel guilty for not paying and stealing a can.

I abused them in BW.

I like cheap items.

I don't use them a lot like I did when I first started the game. I would always get a lot of lemonades.

Yes. I do it just on principle, to be honest. If I've got spare change and fancy something particular, I love a good vending machine in real life, so why not in-game too?!

I'm cheap in real life. I hoard my money. I see no reason to splurge unnecessarily in games either, most of the time. >___> Vending machines are actually my best non-human/'mon friends in these games, I am sure. Still haven't had a bonus drink, though.

I love those vending machines. It takes a while to really stock up, but they have some great restoring items at extremely low cost.

I usually end up buying a LOT of Lemonade/Moomoo Milk and Lava Cookies when they're available in a cheap and renewable form. They inevitably become my go-to items for healing between battles just because they're so cheap for what they do. I've had a bonus drink happen once or twice, but it's almost nothing compared to how many I've gone through since I started using vending machines extensively.

Since they were like everywhere in Unova, I found them really good for cheap healing items, then moved to MooMoo Milk

Every now and then I'll buy a Soda from the vendoing machine, and they're good for the Petilil I'm training.

I do early in the game. Fresh Water heals as much as a Super Potion and costs much, much less. Later in the game, when I battled the E4 a few times, I just stop caring about my money because I know I'll probably never run out and buy Super Potions/MooMoo Milks/Hyper Potions instead.

I use them alot, since I do got my SS game and until I got my Black game and I use them there too.
