So title says all - do you want to battle the professors?
 
I guess battling the professors could be kind of fun.

Anyway, trivia time - Professor Oak was meant to be battleable in Gen I, and there is an Action Replay code to get do that battle.
 
Yes I've seen loads of sites where people edit the game so you can add trainers and Pokemon, like Steven in HGSS, would have loved someone to add Oak's Team (that's hidden in Gen 1) to a game somehow, would be totally epic.
 
It would be epic beyond imagination. For me then.
They supposedly have a lot of experience with Pokémon, Oak used to travel; professors, show me WHAT YOU GOT!
 
Its a good iidea, it could be done as a last bettle before the E4 or something like that :).

I dont think he should be battled at the start, it throws the fun away.
 
I think it would be kind of fun to battle the Professors. They're all suppose to have a lot of knowledge about different Pokemon, so it would be interesting to see what kind of teams they would have. Battling them either before facing the Elite 4, kind of like a test before facing that challenge, or if they want to make them stronger, they could save them for some post-storyline content. Either way, it would be pretty cool and I'd be up for it.
 
It'd be interesting, but they all seem to be more research than battle-focused, so I'm not sure why they'd be fighting you... well, if you can come up with a good reason for that, why not?
 
I think it would be a good idea. The Professors are supposed to be people who devoted their lives to the study of Pokémon - wouldn't it only seem natural for them to be powerful trainers? It'd be a neat idea to put one of the strongest trainers in the game at the very beginning, assuming we're going by the model presented by the hidden data in RBG. And wouldn't it be interesting to see which Pokémon a foremost expert uses?
 
It'd be so cool to battle the famous professors! I have no idea why they dropped the prof. Oak fight idea. At least you can via glitch.

Yes, I'd like to battle them, especially Oak. I think it would be pretty cool.
 
Definitely; the games imply in that they can battle and they straight up tell you with Oak thanks to Agatha(I hate how they changed their minds about letting the player battle him. Would have been great for the remakes). Great potential bonus bosses.
 
I would definitely want to battle the professors - and like most of you, Oak!!

I would also like to battle Prof. Rowan - he seems the most experienced out of the five. I wouldn't be surprised if he is the strongest as well
 
I'd love to see a game with professor oak going back to battling and becoming the Pokemon league champion again!
 
After having it a scrapped concept in the original and having 16 years go by, you'd think they would've done it by now.
 
I don't really want to fight Pokemon Professors. oAo Doesn't seem that exciting to me, all I want from them is my Pokedex.
