Do you watch traditional TV?

I've mostly moved on. I don't think I've used cable since my parents disconnected and got themselves a Hulu subscription.

For awhile, I used a mix of streaming and having a literal antenna attached to my TV, which was fun for getting exactly 7 channels lol. It didn't really work when I lived in a first floor apartment, but maybe I could try now that I'm on a second floor apartment? Something to experiment with perhaps?

I've found it easier to cast from my phone to my TV. Sometimes I cast the local channels from their website/app lol, but don't think this counts as traditional TV though.

No lol. I can't be bothered to turn on the TV.

of course i do, why wouldn't i? it comes included with our internet, i gotta watch the local news to see what's going on in my area, i gotta watch wheel of fortune and jeopardy, and i gotta watch all star trek on H&I starting at 8pm. also svengoolie on meTV on saturdays.

i unironically don't like streaming because sometimes i just wanna watch whatever but with streaming you actively gotta choose something to watch instead of just plopping something on to half-pay attention to. (this is also why i watch a lot of pluto tv and stuff)

Not often and my parents will be getting rid of cable soon. It is nostalgic though.

I have a flat TV in my apartment room, but I don't use cable, or any other service like that, anymore, so I don't watch "watch TV" in the traditional sense anymore. I do have a Blu-ray player, so I use it to watch blu-rays/DVDs for movies and TV series. Beyond that, I mainly use the TV for playing video game consoles. I just use online websites to watch TV shows I'm interested in checking out, or to watch movies I don't own.

My TV connection has been broken for many years now and I can't be bothered to get it repaired lol. I watch live TV online regularly, but technically that doesn't fit your definition. Whenever I'm at my family's house I do watch it. During my stay abroad I also got a second hand TV and watched it quite a bit, mostly sports.

Yes <3 I watch hockey on there it’s more reliable than the 28438262928 streaming services they want me to get to watch one (1) teams games . I’m in their service area they show it all on tv

We still have cable at my place because of football, but I totally get what you’re saying about having to choose something. Most of the time I get choice paralysis and just replay something familiar.

A good budget-friendly option for streamers who want the live experience is FrndlyTV. It has both of the channels you mentioned (Heroes and Icons and MeTV) along with stuff like Hallmark Channel and Game Show Network. Sadly no local channels though.

I do still watch terrestrial TV but not as often as I used too, I do use my TV a lot though, mostly for playing video games and watching DVD's and Blu-Ray's, I also have an old laptop connected to the TV for if I want to watch youtube videos or playback other media from the computer on the TV. I'm not subscribed to any streaming services though as I prefer buying physical media I can keep.

I watch tv every day, usually game shows like the chase and tipping point. I mostly have them on for background noise though. I watch antiques roadshow frequently too but only if it's replays of the older seasons. The newer seasons just don't have the same charm to them imo.

I haven't watched TV in a hot while, and as of recently, my household has done away with cable entirely.
I do have a smart TV (Christmas present), but... I use it as an oversized monitor for my computer more than I ever do for its intended purpose, haha. The truth is that there just isn't anything on TV - or most streaming services - that I'm interested in watching, and it's been that way for me for about as long as I can remember. There is a handful of old cartoons, movies and anime that I care about, but I'll usually just seek those out online in same way when I get in the rare mood to watch them.

I only do streaming nowadays, I will pick something off Netflix usually that appeals to me and usually just start watching something, I get into it or I dont, but I at least give it a good try to like it first. I dont like to quit shows and movies Ive started, The issue is that it really has to pull me in plotwise and the characters need to have personalities that are appealing and they need to be well written or its bad to watch. I also dont like overly long series that drag out and are repetitive with a lot of different characters and plotlines I cant keep track of or I get frustrated, distracted and do something else.

Not anymore. It's not particularly needed and all the propaganda is off putting.
