Merchandise Do you wish there was more official merchandise of the human characters?

I mean like a plush or stickers, I do, as I care more about the human characters, they unfortunately are ignored. Though, there are art pieces and t shirts (I think) , but I wish they had stickers (so I can decorate my laptop), tin badges/buttons/pins, plushies (to decorate my desk), calendars, stationary or acrylic keychains. It would sell really well, but my favorite characters would probably be ignored. Like, they do have some merchandise for characters like N and Steven, but I want more merch for characters like Diantha, Iris and Caitlin. Especially Caitlin, she's so obscure.

Absolutely, yes, I wish this so badly! I personally love posable figures and I wish there was a line of articulated figures for all the gym leaders and Elite 4…. When I see the really crazy Raihan figure I go a little insane. It’s soooo good and I wish everybody had one.

I feel like your best bet for this kind of thing is going to be like… artist alleys at various conventions! People are out there making nicer and more inspired and personalized versions of this kind of thing than I think TPC is ever likely to do, when it comes to the human characters, at least. Of course, it’s luck of the draw on if a given artist alley has Pokémon fan artists but…. I think I my experience there’s always at least one!

Yessssss I would love this so much!! I have a Hop & Leon pin that I bought from a fan artist because TPCi won't make anything official for them. I know Japan gets some Trainer-focused merch sometimes (iirc they even made plushes of some Masters characters) but importing is so expensive... I'd buy Trainer plush/pins/stickers in a heartbeat if they made official ones!!

If it's only humans, to be honest I don't really care. As long as that is not using up their resources of designing/developing new pokemon merchs I am fine with that. But they should focus more on pokemons than humans.
But I would like to see something with humans in it. A model pokemon centre with all the staffs, or some gyms, for example, and maybe you can add some human trainers and their pokemons into it. Like Sylvannian Families or Legos. Sell the trainers in seperate set and let the buyers arrange them by themselves. The renewed DP's art style suits this very well, I can see the human characters made into plastic toys.

I think there's been a lot more trainer merch in the last few years or so. Especially with the advent of the SV DLC. There's a lot of cute merch like photo card holders and plushies of the SV characters. I think they know there's a market for it now so hopefully there will be more of it soon? (IIRC Pokemon Center is gonna bring some of the trainer merch to the US at least? I think they announced something along those lines at Worlds this year...)

Personally: I own a Blue Oak and Rika plushie lol. I also own the Raihan Nendo, but unfortunately missed out on the Blue/Red Nendos. :c

1+ this!! Although its a bit of an off year for Trainer merch (ANYC really only had the Mikus from Project Voltage around.) but given that PLZA is coming out this year, hopefully there will be some neat fan merch based on those games come next con season!!

Considering, the best representation of Human characters we have are the sorta pricey Pseudo Legendary + Trainer figures and like... the Cosplay Pikachu's wearing the Evil Teams uniforms... I would LOVE more Trainer merch... If ya wanna spend like $330 on a Kotobukiya figure of Iono or Leon you can but yeah... we need more trainer merch

I wish they would do more human character merch too! The only thing I've got is the pokemon trainer shirts they did somewhat recently... apparently they also did posters.

I believe the human characters of Pokémon get overshadowed by the Pokémon. Granted, that makes senses because the Pokémon are what the series is about but I still want merch of the humans!

Scale models of gyms/locations, plushies, stickers, fully articulated figures. shirts, pins. Like, give the trainers some love!

I thought I responded to this thread...anyways I would LOVE plushes of human characters!!!!! keychains!!!! keychain plushes!!!!!! the possibilities are endless.... I'm sure it'd all be sold out/expensive most of the time though. looking through this thread, I agree fan artists are probably the way to go. I don't really go to conventions and the like though...sad face...

Barring Ash(whose merch is still sparse) the most Humans ever get is a cheap 4 inch figurine that Takara Tomy clearly threw together as an after thought. If they aren't popular in the games like, Red, Steven, Cynthia etc. They don't get nothin. I missed the date on the figmas and now they're way price hiked so I'm kinda don't get squat. (And the Pokemon Horizons merch is slim even in japan outside of small trinkets here and there so, I'd love some (non-cake topper sized) figurines from there!)
