I had both Clefary and Kangashan in my SS team.

And my new team is only made up of Pokemon from the Winners Path.

On my current HG playthrough my Magneton, Murkrow and Magmar all came from the Pokéwalker before the first gym thanks to foot tapping.

By the time I could get decent Pokemon off the walker I already had my team completed and ready to squash the E4. I was planning on getting Remoraid from the walker, but I got it from the lake by Ice Path before I had enough steps to unlock the walking area.

Then after that I solely breed for any proper Pokemon for battling teams, screw the walker! lol
