I've always preferred live action over animation ever since I was young. I loved watching Jessie on Disney Channel. I've always seen more people preferring animation over live action. while people may prefer animation because it's more stylized, I prefer live action because the it makes the characters more real.

I’m not sure, honestly. I think I’m indifferent, and I’ll just watch a show if I’m interested in it. There are animated shows that I love, but there are also live-action shows I love.

I’m personally a big fan of Catfish, which as of this post, is unfortunately cancelled. I’m not sure if you’d consider it live-action, but it definitely isn’t animated.

One of my hot takes is that I did like the live-action of Lilo & Stitch, but I think I was just happy to see some of my favorite characters again. I have nothing against the animation, but I didn’t hate the remake either.

I'd say most of my favorite TV shows are live action!! (Mad Men, Succession, Arrested Development, The Pitt... etc. etc.) but I love to draw so I think I find myself more fannish about anime/manga/video games/etc. because then I can draw the characters (I can draw real life actors, I just don't want to though lol.)

So I'd say its mixed for me. Strong preference for the former but wanting to engage more with the fandom of the latter.

I'm personally an animation nerd i can't lie, i guess it's because im an artist myself and i really appreciate the artist process and all the time and energy that goes into animated media. On top of that i think animation allows for more out there ideas to be realized in a way that isn't possible with real life actors. There are live action series i do really enjoy, but all together i tend to lean towards animation.

I'm gonna be real and say that this isn't actually a thing. I think you're conflating a preference people have for animation over live-action remakes of animated works (something I fully support because I believe that such works are disrespectful to animation as an art form) with a preference for animation over live-action as a whole.
