Does anyone think Mewtwo could make an appearance in BW?

I was just watching the Mewtwo returns special and it ends with the narrator saying there are rumors of a Pokemon in a town very far away that only travels at night and it shows Mewtwo standing on a pole looking at a city that looks just like New York City. I don't think it's likely, but Unova is considered to be very far away from Kanto and the rest of the other regions Ash has traveled too and I've heard Unova being compared to New York so do you think it's possible we could see an appearance of Mewtwo sometime during BW?

Back when Johto was aired, the writers couldn't possibly know about Unova nearly 10 years later. It was just any generic anime city Mewtwo was in.
 
No, not really. Maybe in a season after Best Wishes, but not right now. BW seems pretty busy trying to cover up anything that happened prior to it in the series canon. Well, aside from that odd mention of Tracey. I could see Mewtwo reappearing later on, or in another movie, though.
 
I think people want a Mewtwo Vs. Genosect story given the similar origins, that's the only reason I can think of.

Though Mewtwo hasn't appeared since 2001, his entire character (anime character), is probably unknown to younger pokemon fans. He really has been gone for over a decade.
 
Would be cool, but i highly doubt it will happen

Plus, Mewtwo would need to know Electro Ball, after that promotional Mewtwo from Japan.
