Does anyone use stuff like X Attack and Defend?

i used them once, and it was to win the snowpoint gym with ONLY A TORTERRA. but besides that, never.

Worthless. Just use Swords Dance / Iron Defense / Agility / etc. Double the benefit and doesn't cost money :p

In four generations of Pokemon Games, I don't think I've ever used an X item even once.

They're useful in the beginning when you don't have Swords Dance or Iron Defense. But once I reach my 4th or 5th Gym, I don't use them expect for selling.

I sell them even in the beginning when I'm so ridiculously overleveled that it doesn't matter.

I have never used a stat boosting item in any of the games except to sell.

I don't use them nor stat boosting moves, since I think it's a waste of a turn to make your whateverstatitis temporarily a bit better.

...yeah, I should learn how to take advantage of moves like Swords Dance, since I see most competitive players use them. But I still cannot see the point, you'll get hit first if you use statboosters!

I used them 3 times in games as far as I can remember. Every time I used them they wasted me one whole turn and my Poke ended up getting OHKO so those are completely useless items.

I dunno about using, but they make for a great source of money in the beginning. Selling X items is helpful.

Nope, I just sell 'em off when I get them. They really aren't that useful if you pokemon have the right moves.

I naver bother to use them except for selling them off... Its better to give your pokemon moves that raise their stats.

However, I do seldom use them on my Slaking when he's a loafer.

Nope, not that I remember. I don't really see the point in them, then again, I am mostly offensive based.

I sold all of my X-items. I prefer to use held items and permanent stat boosters (Protein, etc.) so that my Pokemon can attack immediately.
