Does it feel like Grovyle will be the "Charizard" of AG?

So far Grovyle evolved and has starred in a lot of battles, Corphish hasn't evolved and Torkoal can't either. Does it seem like they're setting up a pattern to mirror OS? Plus Grovyle has Leaf Blade which is like Seismic Toss.

Don't be silly. There isn't going to be another "Charizard." Grovyle can't evolve into a Fire type.

Misty's Psyduck can't evolve into a Fire-type either!

It would be great if Grovyle eventually became a Sceptile. I hope ALL of Ash's Pokemon evolve for once.
