I just noticed he hasn't flirted with her in like 40 episodes. The last time was that Galvantula episode.

They don't have too many episodes together. The crush could have died then, he could have been rejected, or he could have moved on to something else. He wasn't flirtatious with her in that Meloetta episode, he was infatuated with Meloetta at the time.

Oshawott is basically a wolf who chases after any cute bit of skirt that blows his way, as seen in his flirtations with Meloetta and that gender-bending Purrloin. I don't think there was ever intended to be anything particularly special about his crush upon Emolga.

I think the anime writers have either forgotten about it, or they didn't think it was an interesting subplot to the series, so it was scrapped.

I think the writers have forgotten anything about Emolga ages ago, its disobedience, the Piplup thing, etc.

Maybe now that Meloetta and Pochama are both gone they'll revisit it next time they have some screen time together? I forgot about his crush on her entirely until just now.

Miju seems to think with his dick gravitate toward whatever strikes his fancy in the moment, though...

Oshawott seems to have stopped, but did you see the expression Emolga had when he was fawning over Meloetta, she looked confused and dissapointed.

Then when Oshawott got a bit crazy over Buneary, Emolga actually looked quite shocked.

I think since their quite simmilar, their connection will not go completly ignored but never really be a big story

i agree with the people saying oshawott likes chasing tail and has a short attention span but the person commenting that emolga looked shocked caught my attention. i haven't had a chance to go back and see if they're correct yet but i'd pay to see emolga slap oshawott and say remember me?

Since Oshawott is like the Pokemon version of Brock his affections change rapidly. He'll fall for any female Pokemon that walks his way. And they say a woman's heart is a very fickle thing...

My guess is like others pointed out; that Emolga is basically the last thing on the writer's mind with Excadrill being used for major tournaments, Dragonite coming in as a bad-ass Pokemon that tests Iris' ablities as a Dragon Master and Axew's god-like power for a Pokemon that rarely battles or trains (onscreen I guess...) that Emolga is just left flying in the cold.

With the league coming up and maybe the exit of Iris and Cilan I don't think we'll see much of that "budding" romance anytime soon.

Well Pikachu and Buneary relationship was never focused on that much, the only episode that focused on it at all was the Phione episode
