As my 600th post, I decided to create a topic asking this question, and for the first time, create a poll out of it. The question is obviously this: does your and other people's post count matter to you?

For me, I am interested in this community because of their frequent postings, as there are several who reached their thousands in post count. However, I do feel the peer pressure when I see a few people posting a lot of stuff in a day, like as if I needed to post more. I knew I couldn't post a lot of stuff like the other guys did (especially Ryuutakeshi!), so I just post what I can post.

(Obviously me posting this as my 600th means that it matters to me, a little)

It makes me feel proud of myself. And generally, the more posts someone has, the more respected they are. You don't see many mods with 100 posts.

Yeah, it seems like it matters. It's like you're more respected if you have quite a few posts rather than if you had 50 or so.

yeah, ive been around for nearly a year, and I see guys with 1000 posts who ahve only been around 4 like 2-3 months...

nope, personally if i see someone with a TON of posts who has only been on for a month or so, makes me consider that person one who likes to spam :/

Post count = penis size.

Also, no one can post like Ryuutakeshi. He's a machine. Except for some of the people who waste their lives in the fun and games section.

I don't think you should be judged by your post count. Quality, not quantity, right? If you post good things, you should be known for that. Not posting a bunch of BS ya know?

I do think it's sort of cool when you hit 500, 1000, 2000, etc. It shouldn't be too important to you though.

Do, I think ur spamming?
Well actually, I've become alot more active recentnly, and my post count has doubled in just a quater of the toatal time Iv'e been here!
Also, mssingno. must have a huge- *Points between the legs*

At this early stage? No.

Post counts are like cyber bragging rights, can't do alot with them.

I seem to remember a thread like this popping up once before...

...but no. I'm actually surprised that my post count is this high in the first place.

Nah, I don't care about them at all. I don't even really pay attention to it.

It doesnt matter to me. As long as I voice out my opinion, im okay.

to me, yes, but my opinion really isn't all that colorful.

i go into fazes. But at start i really wanted to get high up. Obviously i have low posts currently, but considering i only made my account in June and started being active in August, I think i've done okay. Post count makes others respect you more often, unless all your posts are in outside the box threads. I really care about it and always feel awful about myself since it's low.

Post count generally represents your experience with forums, unless you spam. But I've been a member on multiple forums so the experience thing can be a moot point.

Compared to the Nexon Forums, this place is like a 5 star hotel. Nexon forums are like the ghetto, no avatar, no edit, trolls everywhere, and not nearly as well organized.

I know a board kind of like that. Everyone is anonymous there. I don't remember what it's called.

Post count is fairly important to me. It shows that a user has experience.
