As I read the character summaries, every character has a voice actor or actress. But I'm interested about this matter due to a sense that others did not want it.

I think that every human and Pokemon had one voice actor or actress. If they invite an voice actor or actress playing a role in Pokemon anime, does they play it the same character or another?

I took this exemption, does main voice actors or actresses, role only the main characters without additional strain for other role in this same anime?

Last, how many voice actors and actresses did role in Pokemon anime from the start to the latest Japanese episode?

If you're asking if the seiyuu do more than one voice each, yes. Most seiyuu do.

I have to warn you--the other mods here hate voice actor talk of any sort for reasons that make no sense, and you're likely to get an infraction for even mentioning this stuff.

Even for asking how many roles each seiyuu plays in general?

Apparently so.

Which is extremely strange since the main reason for the VC ban was all the bullshit it caused due to flamewars caused by the cast change from 4kids to PUSA.

Eh, it's a legitimate question, not an attempt at starting a discussion.
(and honestly, can't that ban be lifted soon? You'd expect people to have gotten over that dub VA change by now)

If I'm getting this right, you're asking if the actors voicing the main characters also voice other roles in the series. If so, then yes, they do various other roles in the series, mostly pokemon voices. Of particular note is Shinichirou Miki, Kojirou's voice actor, who also voiced the Pokemon Zukan for huge portions of the series.

Most people have. The mods here are for the most part very slow to pick up on that fact.

Anyway, to give a recent example, the guy who did the voice of Pluto was also Tessen (aka Wattson).

Most of that flamewar has resided anyway.

This will slide because it's a factual question, and as long as it doesn't turn into a discussion about it, than I see that it's alright to stay open.

Blackjack, please don't start.

It was simply a notice.

Anyway, look at Bulbapedia and you'll see some of the examples.
-This guy has done a voice for every single one of the movies, and was the evidence that the Mew in movie 8 wasn't the same one from the first movie.

If we're doing examples... ;-)

Musashi = Fushigidane = Pidgeon = Eneko = Mudkipz = Hiko/Mouka = Rumika = .etc = Megumi Hayashibara, because she's awesome <3

Don't forget the Hoenn Pokedex ^^

Or Unshou Ishizuka = Narrator, Professor Oak, Ash's Swellow, Dawn's Mammoswine, Paul's Grottle and many other one time Pokémon and human character.
Sorry for writting the names in English, I am not that fammiliar with Japanese names.

Though admittedly, their pool is quite big. Many CODs/Gym leaders.etc. seem to get original(ish) voices.

That's because they often have guest voices do their voices. For instance, Harley's japanese voice normally does Sonic the Hedgehog.

All anime and dubbing in Japan seems to share the same pool of voice actors/actresses. Hence they could potentially get any person they think could be best for the role. In theory at least.

They aren't divided among studios or by distance like actors/actresses in western countries.

They're also a far smaller nation than Canada or the US. If you notice, there's a pocket of LA dubbing people, a pocket of New York, a pocket of Houston, a pocket of Vancouver, etc.

and miraculously, in spite of this, English anime dubbing does seem to have improved over the years. Remember when a single actor could be credited for like 10 different characters in the same show (Funimation was especially notorious for this after they cut off the Ocean group). Though they probably attempted to hide this fact by crediting all the voices under a heading like "Voice Talents by" rather than crediting each character to their respective voice (another thing common in dubbed anime back in the day).
