Pokémon GO Community Day — Bounsweet
The Fruit Pokémon Bounsweet is the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's Community Day for May 2024, which is being held this weekend on Sunday May 19th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. During this event, Bounsweet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, together with its Shiny variant.

Immediately following the scheduled end of the Community Day, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm local time, unique Four-Star Raids against Steenee will take place. When Trainers defeat the Steenee Raid Boss, Bounsweet will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. Trainers can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used. Bounsweet appearing as a result of these raids will have the same odds of appearing as Shiny as during the main Community Day event. Please note that Trainers will not be able to use Remote Raid Passes to join these special Steenee raidsraids.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active throughout the event:
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
  • 1/4 Hatch Distance for Eggs placed in Incubators during the event
  • 2× Chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
  • Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Trainers can receive an in-game surprise by taking a few snapshots during Community Day
  • One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day (active from 2:00pm to 10:00pm)
  • Trades will require 50% less Stardust (active from 2:00pm to 10:00pm)
Pokémon GO Community Day — Bounsweet, Steenee, and Tsareena stickers
Addionally, Trainers will be able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop. PokéStop Showcases will also be running throughout the event period at different PokéStops.

Steenee that are evolved into Tsareena during the Community Day event, or within five hours after it concludes while the Bonus Raid Battles are running, will learn the Charged Attack High Jump Kick. In Trainer Battles, this move has 110 power, and a chance to greatly decrease the user's defense. In Gyms and raids, the move has 90 power.

Special and Field Research
A Community Day-exclusive Special Research story can be purchased for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This Special Research can also be gifted to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher. Community Day-themed Field Research Research will also be available. Amongst other rewards, players completing the Field Research will be able to earn additional encounters with Bounsweet, as well as Stardust, and Great Balls.

Two different bundles will be available from the in-game shop during this event. The first bundle, which costs 1,350 PokéCoins, includes 50 Ultra Balls, 5 Super Incubators, 1 Elite Charged TM, and 5 Lucky Eggs. The second bundle, costing 480 PokéCoins, includes 30 Ultra Balls, 1 Incense, 3 Super Incubators, and 1 Lure Module.
