This keeps happening to me a lot. I fight hard to get a few wins after a loss, so I battle and my opponent has 1 Pokemon left and I have 4, I'm about to win, but they decide to just to disconnect. I battle fair, I don't use legendary, and I take defeat too, I don't quit or disconnect when I'm about to lose. :eek:hdear:

I wouldn't always presume malice. I personally have gotten random DCs from my side as I was about to lose, so it definitely looked like a ragequit, while being a legit accidental DC.
Besides, ragequits as they are are absolutely inevitable and there is no way anyone bar ragequitters themselves can affect that :)

Nope. Don't care. Normally counts as a win for the one who doesn't DC. Plus I don't battle on WiFi enough to care about DCs

Yeah it ounts as a loss for the DC'r so while it shows immaturity on the foe's part it won't affect your rating or anything. :)

It irks me a little bit, but on WiFi it's not a huge deal (mostly just me wondering why they didn't forfeit instead) and on Showdown I'm too busy getting bent out of shape about the hit-and-run remarks they make about you before they forfeit to care about the forfeiture itself. :p

It sucks for regular PSS battles when the opponent's DC doesn't count as a win for yourself. It's an incredible waste of time to have an entire battle only to have your opponent DC at the last minute. It's not like they count losses on PSS anyway, so what's the point?

I just don't even accept PSS battles unless its from someone I know.

I suppose that's an option, but it gets rather boring, and, in my case, even my "friends" have DC'd on me~

It does annoy me if it was a really good battle, because then I don't get to save the replay. Otherwise, I don't really see it any differently from a forfeit.
