Isn't it odd when you're only doodling and then something turns out decent? And then you actually put effort into something, and it turns out just horrid? Uh, yeah. This was a doodle, and it kinda scares me, because I think this is my best TLK-style head-shot. Oh my.

.... Oh yes, can you tell my scanner is dying? XD

Hehehe... funny. You're all right. Sometimes I'm just doodling and it ends on in something decent. BUt when I try to put all of my effort on something else, it turns out horrible. :X

As for the pic: It's adorable. It looks just like those character sketches from Disney's artists. =o Love the expression on Simba. ^^ Too bad your scanner is dying. ;-;

Whoa, that looks pretty dead-on Disneyesque. And I hear ya about the doodles. My sketches are always awesome, but anything I set out to "finish" looks half-assed. >_<

It's very nice. While I'm not much of a Disney fan (I think Michael Eisner is the Antichrist), your artwork is enough to win me over anyway. 'Tis lovely!

And I also can sympathize over the doodle vs. design dilemma... the same thing has happened to me too many unhappy times to count. It figures that every would-be casual sketch on a trashy piece of lined paper (which scans horribly) is going to turn out like some kind of magnum opus, doesn't it?
