According to the new teaser poster, it has been confirmed that there will be Double Champions Steven Stone and Wallace in the AG series. They will play an important role in the Aqua vs Magma arc, as well as star in an episode where tag battles are introduced - which will also be their debut episode!


Ash and his new rival will team up for this new method of battling - against the champions! The broadcast date is not yet confirmed, but the title will be revealed soon!

Maybe this confirms that Ash will win the league this time and challenge them for the title of Champion of Hoenn? And then maybe he'll finally be a Pokemon Master.

A Steel-type specialist and a Water-type specialist. Sounds like Misty will be helping Ash in the double battle. He will also have to get Charizard back, as it will wreck Steven's team.

In fact, screw Misty, I want to see Pikachu and Charizard tearing crap apart.

Don't be absurd. Wallace is the Eighth Gym Leader in the games, not the Champion. I mean look at the guy, can you even imagine someone like that being a champion? Totally fake.

Ash will battle him for the last badge and that's it. He will have no other significance beyond that.
