They say, "Don't jump the gun," when it comes to uncovering dub names.

But it's perfectly alright to go about changing DPXXX to its dub title? It's alright to jump the gun on titles that, even from those same fallible sources, seem to be gotten wrong?

Anyone else see something wrong with this?

Here are examples of why this is as jeopardizing as likely having the wrong name listed:

Plenty of titles found online have had misspellings before the correct spelling was caught on the title card.

More specific, and more recent: "Ancient Family Matters!" was listed as "Ancient Family Matter!" before the premier of the episode.

So either we are allowed to jump the gun on ALL THINGS dub related, or NOTHING until they premier on TV. Because there are just some things I can't stand, honestly, and that's when people take the "title", find the articles that are going to be using it, and suddenly, a word is off, an exclamation is missing (or have you noticed the ! has been in more titles than not throughout DP?), or they changed it last minute (rare, but I think they've done it once?).

But really, this shouldn't be a mixed bag.

Titles are one thing, but the original Japanese episode's events are another. Especially since the teams and such are listed "as of the most recent Japanese episode". And we don't want the episode page to consist of "ASHES CHEMCHAR EVOVLED INTOO MOMFERNO IN THIS EPISODE :D".

Plus, the gun-jumping with dub names is a completely reasonable thing to be irked over-- moving pages is a pain in the ass, especially since redirect fixer no longer works, whereas episode titles can be edited easily.
