DP anime song titles!

The CD containing the OP/EDs will be out on November 29.

DP Opening 01: "Together", by Fumie Akiyoshi [???????]
DP Ending 01: "Kimi no Soba de - Hikari no teema -" (translated: "By Your Side - Hikari's Theme -"), by Grin [???]

Except the CD release bit, the information is not 100% confirmed yet.

So, this time we don't get any themes sung by Rica Matsumoto and we get Hikari's theme as the ending song. A nice change of pace, imo.

They've repeated the same instrumental for both previews of DP. That must be what the OP sounds like.

And wow, something about those titles screams shippy. I bet the Pearlshippers are going to go crazy over them.

Because she wasn't the co-star. Although even Takeshi did, so maybe Kasumi just has bad luck?

It is more misfortune that it was only after writing her out that the writers were like 'Hey You know what would be cool?' 'What?' 'Giving focus to characters other than Satoshi!'

Or the writers just hate Kasumi and did that intentionally...

Nah, Haruka would elliminate them both. Afterall, even if Hikari is 'By Your Side', Haruka 'Won't Lose'.

But it definitely has to do with her Pokemon.

I'd guess they'd simiply air the opening before the first episode(or after a short clip like during Battle Frontier) and the ending after the 3rd episode, rather then airing the Opening and Ending three times during the premiere special.

But I doubt there's going to anything too shippy in the first opening/ending. The writers have to draw the story out and it clearly isn't love at first sight.

She got to sign an ending theme song, though: "Lapras ni Notte" in the Orange Islands Season.

I was kinda hoping for a new version of Mezaze....

The music that played in the DP Anime previews didn't sound like an opening...sounded more like an ending.

lol, I remember people saying Misty would be angry when she found out a new girl was traveling with Ash in Hoenn, (May), but when they actually met Misty was like her best friend.

Misty DID have bad timing though. May and Hikari got major roles in the show where they co-starred it with Ash, but Misty spent most of her run just clutching Togepi in her arms.

Too bad there wasn't some other quest back in the Kanto or Johto era, Misty got screwed out of her potential unlike May/Hikari.

She got a song on the second movie's soundtrack. It wasn't in the actual movie itself, but it was played in the Japanese version of the episode where Satoshi catches Kimori.
