I'm having waaaaay too much fun with the mining minigame in the underground.

So far, I've dug up 19 Armor Fossils and 41 Heart Scales, as well as many plates and other hold items and evolutionary stones and more spheres than I know what to do with.

Who knew there was so much cool stuff down there? :O

YES. Best DP feature ever.

I keep getting random stones though, and Sheild fossils. My friend keeps getting fire stones in her game 8D

I've got more rocks than I know what to do with. XD

By the way, I'm working on mapping all the item shapes in the game on the Bulbapedia article for the Underground. Whaddya guys think? (... I haven't made any mistakes yet, have I? :x)

Yup, this is one great minigame! Now if you could choose different songs to listen to, then I could spend hours down in that mine.
I totally dig this new concept! *pun intended*
however, I almost always get spheres... I bury the biggest ones I find so I can sell em for furniture.
The traps are the best though, they spice up the game. At first I could never blow away the leaftrap though so I had to keep restarting my game.

I stay away from the Underground because whenever I go down there, I spend like 4 hours down there.

Digging... sooooo... addictive. ;_; Must... get... Stones and Fossils... except now I'm up to my ears in male Shieldons I don't really want. ^_^;;;

I always lose plates when I find them. The wall always collapses before I can fully dig them out DX

And my favorite trap is totally the one were you're on fire. I freaked out when I had it. I was on fire for hours before I figured out how to get rid of it XD

You actually have to blow on the touch screen, not the mic...

I liked the minigame at first but now I'm starting to detest it. There's really nothing to do with your various spheres besides buy secret base components or traps, neither of which I care about. I'd love it if I could trade them in for evo stones, TMs, etc...

Is that list on Bulbapedia a comprehensive list of everything you can find down there? As in, is there anything else? Also, I'd suggest adding a location map of all the merchants and what they sell, if possible!

Erm... I'd say it's "a list of everything I've found so far".

And yeah, that's probably possible... but the list of what's sold might be a bit tough. ... might as well get to work on it... :x

I'd update with the stuff from the upper-left trap merchant myself, but you need an account to edit, I lost my password for my account, and it doesn't send an email to any of the addresses I check when I ask it to send me my password. In fact, it doesn't tell me which email account it sends it to at all.

Um, well, I don't think they're specific to the different merchants, are they? I mean, it seems to me that they each have randomly generated lists every day from the different items they can possibly sell. It might be better to have a grand list of their merchandise on the sphere article.

Question. I want to see if this is a trick or just coincidence.

My friend and I both planted "sphere gardens" - we buried a lot of spheres in the same area. She and I have both noticed that a lot of mining spots appeared around our gardens. More than once, I've had full walls of mining spots in a hallway that I've filled with spheres.

Anyone else notice this?

Speaking of burying spheres, I noticed that when you bury spheres together, the size of the resulting sphere is approximately equal to the square root of the sum of the squares of the sizes of the spheres you put in. In other words, these spheres are two dimensional!

Aah, that makes sense. I wasn't thinking much about how it works.

You would figure that one out, you geek. :P

I know. I'm double-posting. I'm bad.

BUT. You're gonna thank me for this.

Plant a sphere garden to get a lot of mining spots. I am convinced at this point this isn't just a happy coincidence.

I'm getting full walls of mining spots. I just counted around my garden, and there are at least 50 spots waiting to be mined in this little area alone.
