So we already know about Marina's cameo...

The Pokétch is clearly the big thing and everyone wants one and so everyone gets one and Hikari can't get one because they are sold out. Except she will have one by the end of whatever events happen during the episode. Possibly including clowns.

Kolink seems to play a large role so that's one thing to look forward to.
 
I think it belongs to that cute rich kid in the preview.

But hey, mind controlled Pokemon that aren't native to 4th Gen Region!
 
Is it coincidence this episode airs the same week the Wii has its first of 3 launches where the same thing is likely to happen (albiet with less clowns)...?

There weren't any clowns in the preview, anyone disappointed by that?

I really hope this doesn't turn out to be a disappointment of Team Rocket in clown costumes rather than the clowns from the games. Man, that would suck, but I could see the writers doing that.

On another note, nice to see two Hikari spotlight episodes in a row. The Contest 2-parter comes right after this too, right? That would make 4-Hikari spotlight episodes in a row.

I'm really loving how Hikari is getting equal screentime with Ash, (and poor Brock is getting nothing, even in the Greggle episode Brock did absolutely zero. I guess getting rid of Max didn't help Brock one bit in D/P), so things haven't changed for him.
 
I'd say the three characters were balanced well in the last episode. (Maybe Ash slightly less than Brock and Hikari.) The main focus was on her new Pokémon but the Brockness there was good.

We have plot points in her getting the Pokétch and the first contest being in the same town so three episodes isn't that much of a surprise.

It was mainly Greggle-ness, but since it is his....
 
Hope he remembers to keep a good supply of Antidotes in that backpack of his. :p
 
Yup.

I'm tempted to say Ginga-dan is involved....but highly unlikely.
 
So when are we ever going to get to see Team Galaxy in this show? The longer they wait to debut them, the more and more I think they're going to get as bad treatment as Magma/Aqua.
 
After the First Gym, most likely.

In teh games, they appear in Kotobuki first...on the return trip.
