Mumage causes Satoshi-tachi to fall into a dream world, where they witness a battle between Groudon and Rayquaza among other strange things.

This episode will air August 16, 2007 on TV Tokyo.
 
When I first saw the preview, I was all WTF at Groundon's and Rayquaza appearence in a stadium.
 
Looking at the preview, I'm surprised this is a Kinoshita ep.

Animation's pretty decent. 0_0

Looks like it should be a fun episode.
 
With Oak appearing, anyone think possibly other cameos could happen?

Misty? May? Max?

Or perhaps Ash, who apparently dreams entering a tournament, uses Charizard or one of his stronger dudes?

Also, despite the trailer, I don't think Cynthia is summoning Rayquaza like it seems...
 
This episode looks to be just as good as the Unown ep, if not better.

We need more episodes like these for the writers to get crazy without worrying about continuity.
 
This episode seems better suited for halloween, that is if the japanese even celebrate that.

What exactly does Ash say in the preview, i'm curious to know.

Reminds me more of Illusion Confusion from early Jouto, heh though this time it's only one ghost causing problems instead 5-6.

Isn't the On-bomi festival around this time? It's like Halloween... I'm thinking it is because another anime's recent episode followed the theme and mentioned it. That might explain it.

Groudon. Note the spelling. There is only one N. I don't know why people keep making this mistake.
 
It makes me wonder if Dawn's mother really does own a Milotic. It wouldn't surprise me if she does, but they need another cliche contest pokemon. Glameow is off to a good start.

I really wish they wouldn't use the same Pokemon for Contests that we've seen a billion times. Milotic was Robert's main Pokemon and assuming Nando is in a Contest in the future, we get to have Roselia shoved down our throats yet again.

They really should include other Pokemon that have never been in Contests yet, but since this is a dream I suppose it doesn't matter as much.
