ダイノーズ!熱き魂!!
[bp=DP058]Bulbapedia article[/bp]

This episode will air Dec. 6, 2007 on TV Tokyo.

I'll go ahead and say "Burning Spirit" refers to a Magmortar who Nosepass has fallen in love with an wants to become a Probopass to impress it.

Also, any preview pics yet? The skimpy Luxray girl (why is that preview being shown already) got priority over Nosepass on 2chan, plus this episode has a new Animation Director.

"Skimpy Luxray girl" is from "Röntora's Eyes," which will air the week after next.

They also showed scenes from the upcoming Unown ruins episode.

Actually, I'm really sure that "Burning Spirit" is a reference of some sort of Jewish mysiticism lol.

Isn't this the episode where people were speculating that Brock's tag battle partner would return or something?

Yeah, but that's very unlikely, since there's already a kid with a Nosepass in this ep.

I just gotta say, that girl looks almost exactly like Officer Jenny

The new director´s work looks pretty nice. No broken character models, nice animation and a neat filler-character design. looking forward to this episode ^^

TV Tokyo has the preview up.

My computer can't show it, but the trailer picture shows the filler boy looks really cool.

The preview at the end of the episode was different then the one on the site, I assume.

So the anime kept the part about Nosepass having to be in Mt. Tengan (Mt. Coronet) in order to evolve. I didn't expect them to not ignore that.

Also, Musashi has her cleavage back.

-The episode starts by showing scenes from later in the episode.

-Opening Theme: Together
-The episode starts with the narrator explaining that Satoshi and his Naetle are facing off against a Nosepass trainer named Atsuo at Mt. Tengan.
-Title Screen
-Atsu orders his Nosepass to use Zap Cannon, but Naetle is able to dodge. Atsuo gets fired up (with fire in the background and everything). He orders Nosepass to use Zap Cannon again, but Naetle dodges again. This time, Satoshi follows Atsuo's lead and gets all "fired up." Naetle dodges and starts to run toward Nosepass. It runs around the pokemon and starts to run away, so Nosepass turns around and starts to follow it. Satoshi and Atsuo follow their pokemon. As Nosepass fires Zap Cannon after Zap Cannon, their trainers, now joined by Takeshi and Hikari, chase after them. Eventually, one of Nosepass' Zap Cannon attacks gets close enough to Naetle to knock it forward, causing it to jump onto a rock to prevent itself from falling.
-Naetle turns toward Nosepass and prepares to attack, but Atsuo calls the battle off! When he's asked why, Atsuo says that it's because they're approaching the outskirts of Mt. Tengan. He then pulls out a map and points to a territory marked off in red. He tells Satoshi that he wants his Nosepass to evolve into Dainose, but in order to do that it has to battle within the territory marked on the map. The rock Naetle jumped onto is outside that territory, so Atsuo doesn't want continue the battle. Takeshi wonders what the relation between Nosepass' evolution and Mt. Tengan is while Satoshi states that this is the first time he's ever heard of a pokemon evolution dependant on the pokemon's location.
-Satoshi and Atsuo decide to walk back to a spot a little bit closer to the center of the map so they can resume the battle. Nosepass starts off by using an attack that causes rocks to fall from the cliffs above (Earth Power?). Naetle dodges all the falling boulders and uses Tackle. After the attack connects, Atsuo orders Nosepass to use Tackle right back. The pokemon obeys, and for a while the two pokemon Tackle each other over and over.
-Suddenly, Nosepass begins to glow and evolves into Dainose! Hikari scans the pokemon with her Pokemon Zukan while Atsuo and Satoshi cheer. Atsuo thanks Satoshi for helping his pokemon evolve, but the young trainer from Masara Town reminds him that the battle isn't over. The battle is about to resume when a green hat with antenna coming out of it hovers to Dainose's area and lands on top of its head! Suddenly, the three miniature Nosepass that float around Dainose's body ("mini-noses") fly toward Atsuo, knocking him back! Suddenly, our heroes can hear the Rocket-Dan laugh.
-After the Rocket trio recites their motto, Musashi tells our heroes that they'll be taking Dainose. Atsuo protests, saying that he's been friends with his pokemon for too long to give it up to a bunch of crooks. Nyasu ignores him and manipulates a lever on a remote control. Dainose, in response, fires its mini-noses at Atsuo. Satoshi pushes him out of the way at the last second as the three projectiles explode. Nyasu presses the levers on his remote control again; this time, Dainose uses its earth attack from before. The ground starts to rumble, incapacitating everyone. Dainose is retrieved by the Rocket-Dan and is flown away in their hot air balloon.
-Atsuo is upset that his pokemon is gone and cries out for it. He tells Satoshi that they're always together, training everyday and winning in many battles. He also tells Satoshi that Nosepass was very helpful whenever he got lost because he could use the pokemon's nose to find his way. Atsuo is upset that his pokemon's been stolen after he's worked so hard to get it to evolve, but Satoshi tells him not to give up hope. Takeshi tells Atsuo that they'll definately get Dainose back, which cheers up Atsuo. Satoshi then tells him that when they do retrieve the pokemon, they'll resume their battle.
-Elsewhere, in a riverside forest away from the mountain, Musashi is laying out on a lawn chair, sunbathing. Meanwhile, Kojirou, Nyasu, and Sonansu work at making more of the mind control helmets and remote controls. Musashi yells at the others to work faster and starts to dream about commanding an army of Dainose...
-Meanwhile, Satoshi and the others follow Takeshi as he uses a compass to pinpoint Dainose's location. After a while, the needle sharply turns west, indicating a change in the magnetic field nearby. Takeshi deduces that this is where Dainose is, so he and the others follow the compass. Soon enough, they find the Rocket-Dan's camp. The four trainers hide behind a bush, but before long Atsuo becomes restless and stands up to face the Rocket-Dan head-on. Takeshi holds Atsuo back, asking him to calm down. Then, Satoshi tells Atsuo that he has a plan as he calls out his Buoysel...

-eyecatch-

-Buoysel is released into the water. The pokemon dives underwater and gets closer to the area where the Rocket-Dan is. There, Nyasu is happily polishing the remote controls and comments on how shiny they are. Suddenly, Buoysel pops its head out of the water, hits Nyasu in the back with a Water Gun, and then ducks back into the water before Nyasu can see what happened. After this happens, Nyasu wonders where the water came from. Buoysel pops his head out and does the same thing, only this time it hits Musashi with its attack. Instead of shrugging it off like Nyasu did, Musashi starts to yell at her teammates, demanding to know who's playing pranks on her. As the Rockets are preoccupied, Buoysel comes out of the water and reaches for Dainose's remote control. Unfortunately, it accidentally knocks over the controller, causing a noise that alerts the Rocket-Dan of its presence.
-Musashi sends out Dokucale and tells it to use Psybeam. The moth pokemon's attack hits, temporarily stunning Buoysel. As the water-type pokemon staggers, Sounansu runs up to the pokemon and grabs the other end of the controller. A tug-of-war ensues as Atsuo jumps out from behind the bush and into the water. Satoshi then calls on his Mukubird and has the pokemon knock the controller out of both Buoysel's and Sounansu's hands. As the controller files into the air, Atsuo emerges from the river and jumps onto Dainose in an attempt to wrestle the helmet off. Kojirou notices Atsuo's attempt and runs over to stop him by pulling him off the pokemon.
-Meanwhile, the controller that Mukubird had knocked out of Buoysel's and Sounansu's hands continues to fly into the air. Satoshi jumps up to catch it, but Dokucale uses a Gust attack to blow it out of Satoshi's reach. The controller lands on Dainose's helmet, causing it to short circuit. Sparks fly from the helmet as the controller explodes. Now, Dainose is out of control!
-The first thing Dainose does is use its mini-noses to send the Rocket trio blasting off with a Zap Cannon. Next, it launches its mini-noses at Satoshi and Atsuo, barely missing the two trainers. Takeshi and Hikari, who are still hiding behind the bush on the other side of the river, tell Satoshi that a strong shock might bring Dainose back to its senses. So, Satoshi has Pikachu use Thunderbolt. The attack connects and seems to snap Dainose out of its confusion, but the effect is only temporary. Dainose resumes its rampage by using Zap Cannon again. After the attack misses Satoshi, Dainose turns around and floats away.
-Satoshi and the others, led by Atsuo, follow the pokemon. Satoshi has his Buoysel (who's still out of its Monster Ball) to use Water Gun to slow the pokemon down. Buoysel obeys and is able to slow Dainose down enough for Atsuo to catch up to it. Atsuo jumps onto his pokemon and resumes his attempt at pulling off the mind control helmet, but Dainose is moving too erratically for him to get a decent shot. Atsuo asks Satoshi to slow it down again so he can try to pull the helmet off again. Takeshi tells Hikari to bring out her Pachirisu, so the young Coordinator obeys.
-As Dainose continues floating, with Atsuo on its back, the pokemon approaches a lake. Atsuo tells Satoshi and he has an idea and asks him to have his pokemon use Thunderbolt and Water Gun at the same time. As Dainose reaches the edge of the lake, Buoysel uses Water Gun while Pikachu and Pachirisu use their electric attacks. The two opposing types combine, forming a powerful attack that knocks both Dainose and Atsuo into the lake. Whoops. Dainose sinks to the bottom of the lake, so, once it lands, Atsuo tries to pry the helmet off again.
-Above the water, Satoshi tells his Buoysel to go underwater and help Atsuo out. After the pokemon jumps in, the Rocket-Dan reappear and announce that they'll reclaim Dainose with a spare mind control helmet that they had on-hand. Satoshi tells Pikachu to use Thunderbolt, but Nyasu fires a net that traps the pokemon and its friends. This sudden capture causes Pikachu's Thunderbolt attack to hit Satoshi-tachi instead of the Rocket-Dan.
-Below the water, Atsuo starts headbutting his pokemon to bring it back to its senses. This last-ditch effort works, and Dainose breaks the helmet off its head. Atsuo and Dainose start to swim up to the surface just as Buoysel arrives on the scene to help.
-Before long, Atsuo and Dainose jump out of the lake and approach the Rocket-Dan. As "Pokemon Symphonic Medley" plays in the background, Atsuo declares that he will beat the Rocket trio. Musashi calls out Habunake while Kojirou calls out Mascippa, who promptly bites its trainer's head. The Rocket-Dan battles Atsuo as Satoshi asks Buoysel to use Sonic Boom to free them. Once Satoshi and his friend are out of the net, they watch as Habunake uses Poison Tail and Mascippa uses Bite. Dainose responds with some kind of energy ball attack that hits both pokemon, knocking them into their trainers. Musashi-tachi stand up and yell at their pokemon not to give up, but Pikachu uses Volt Tackle, Pachirisu uses Discharge, and Dainose uses Zap Cannon before they can counterattack. The three electric attacks send the Rocket-Dan blasting off again. As Atsuo celebrates the victory and the retrieval of his pokemon, Satoshi reminds the trainer that their battle isn't finished.
-The episode ends with Dainose and Naetle resuming their battle as Pikachu and Pachirisu cheer on the side.

Hmm, I wonder if Dianose got a cur-aaazy voice to match folks' perception of it... Other than that, it seems like it'll be interesting to watch.

Its voice wasn't that special, really. But that won't stop people from making annoying Internet meme after annoying Internet meme.
