Since no one else is creating a thread, I'll do it. This episode will air February 28 on TV Tokyo after a break on the 21:st.

The preview looks awesome:

- Dawn and all her pokemon are in cheerleading outfits, the same as in Roark's gym

- Machoke using a lot of karate attacks on Staravia

- Meditite using Drain Punch, Staravia using Gust, Buizel with Sonicboom, Chimchar using Flamethrower, Staravia using Aerial Ace.

- Lucario uses a string of Bone Rushes on a dodging Buizel

- It's raining(?)

- Lucario uses Aura Sphere, Buizel then counters using a super charged Aqua jet and sets off towards Lucario. Then they crash into eachother, resulting in an explosion.

Cheerleading Dawn again? I actually kinda wish they'd tone down a bit on her alternate outfits now. While it was cute/fun at first its gotten slightly tiresome. I'm glad to see she's not all that depressed though.

Oh, yah, 'cause there's excitement in the air~

Anyway, It's been a long trip, but Ash is ready for Veilstone gym!

My predictions (in the order I predict the Pokemon will appear):

Mukkubird vs Machoke = Mukkubird wins
Mukkubird vs. Meditite = Mukkubird wins
Mukkubird vs. Darth Rucario = Darth Rucario wins
Buoysel vs. Darth Rucario = Darth Rucario wins
Hikozaru vs. Darth Rucario = Hikozaru wins

Man, I am loving Darth Rucario's Bone Rush lightsaber!

I'm guess Buizel learned Rain Dance or the gym has a opening roof cause it does look like rain in the preview.

Too bad for Gligar, but atleast Ash's other underused guys get a chance to shine. I want either three of them to get the final win.

And yes, Ash wins. No arguements.

Nice to see Ash remember that Muku does have an attack that doesn't involve it ramming it's fragile cranium into the opponent. Whens the last time it used WhirlGust in an actual scuffle anyway? Never from what I can recall.

In any case, I hope he beats something.

Uhhh, the episode it was caught as a Mukkuru I think. It used it against Eipom before Ash caught it, and again when it knocked away the arms of Team Rockets machine.

Ahh, but I meant under Ash’s command. And I’ll be damned if I consider blowing away smokescreens and attacking robots as a proper battle ;)

Gligar seems to be his equivalent to May's Eevee. It's not ready for a big battle yet but it will get its chance to shine later in the saga.

And yeah, it's good to see Pikachu and Turtwig stay in the sidelines and let the other three show their stuff.

I'm excited to see Chimchar and Buziel in action there my fav Pokemon of Ash this saga. I am hoping both wins there battles. it would be freakin sweet if Buziel learned a new attack already.

Eevee never got a chance to shine. :/

At least Gligar has the rest of Sinnoh, we're only 3 measly Gyms in. Eevee had what...20 episodes, most of which it remained locked away in its ball? I'm not ever getting over that, ever. :p

That's exactly why I don't count that as good screentime. At least Gligar has plenty of time to be used in the future.

I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE THE BIRD/THE D00D/THE MONK, I KNEW IT.

I need a pie.

From what the preview showed, it seems my hopes to see a Monferno are out. :/

If Staravia doesn't win a match here either, what's the point in keeping it around? At the moment its failing miserably to live up to the high standards Swellow pulled for Ash's team.

It's a Flying-type. If it doesn't win, Ash can tell him to fuck off.
But he will probably learn Brave Bird, and he will defeat at least one Pokémon.

Since it rains in the preview;
Buizel will probably learn Rain Dance during the battle and with that Swift Swim and boosted water attacks, resulting in a realistic victory over Lucario.

...or it could just be a backlash from Buizel using a water move.

And why the hell wouldn't Staravia win at least one match? I don't want that fire ass monkey taking out two Pokemon right now, even though it can.
