-The Pokemon Magician is wearing a pink top hat and pink suit.

-Mimirol's in this one a lot. In one shot, it looks love smitten. In another, Gligar is (accidentally?) throwing dirt onto it.

-There are three Lishan.

-It looks like Satoshi will be using Naetle for something important in this episode. Kojirou is also seen ordering Manene in battle.

Hmm....

So the magician lady wears a pink top hat and a pink suit?

That sounds interesting! ^^

By the way, in the preview, do they call the type of magic she performs "Pokemon Magic" like in episode 243? Also, does it look like Ash and friends are gathering ingredients from Pokemon?

Or does this look like typical, stage kind of magic which somehow involves the Chingling?

I've been trying to figure this out. Because it seems like the writers now have two different kinds of magic in the Pokemon anime. But I really hope I'm wrong about that. ^^;

So, Ash is using Turtwig for something important? Yay! I can't wait to see what this episode is gonna be about! :-D

Anyway, I don't know why Buneary would be love smitten, unless it's looking at Ash's Pikachu again (or it could be someone else who has received its attention this time). XD

As for Gligar accidentally throwing dirt onto Buneary, I have no idea what that could mean (unless, the magician needs an attack from Buneary for a magic spell, but Gligar messes the spell up somehow, hehehe)....

If the preview doesn't tell us which kind of magic this was or give us any kind of hints whatsoever, then I am still confused here.

Man, I need answers! The suspense is killing me! XD

EDIT: Can someone give me a link to where I can watch this preview? ^^;

Yay!

Thank you, Dogasu! ^_^

By the way, are you excited about this episode as well? Personally, the idea of the writers using any kind of magic in a Pokemon episode really excites me. I love that kinda stuff!! :-D

And if this episode is anything like my top favorite Master Quest episode (you know the one), I will go nuts. XD

Well, thanks anyway for you input, Dogasu.

That's exactly what I expected you to say.

I will still continue being optimistic about this (that's just how I am, I always hope for the best). But quite frankly, I don't care what kinda magic this episode has in it. Amazingly, this episode does have magic in it, and I'm happy knowing that. I'll be satisfied, even if that magician performs regular old stage magic with her Chingling.

But if this IS the same kind of magic that Lily performed (Pokemon Magic), this episode will be all kinds of awesome. I don't care if I'm wrong about that, I'd still like to have hope for this anyway.

And remember, you can ignore me, cause I'm a fangirl! I'm guilty of the crime of being a fangirl! XD

Buneary being in this episode makes it a winner. Hopefully no Piplup though, the writers are now falling into the trap of making some people dislike it.

Which is a shame, as I still like Piplup but I can understand why a lot of people are getting sick of it now. Buneary on the other hand, needs good screentime.

Don't feel bad, Lisa. It's was pretty much a given anyway. Heck I had a huge doubt of his appearance. And from the looks of this episode, there's no way it can happen.

Anyway, nice to see Buneary get some spotlight for once. The thing needs to do stuff more often =)

Well, to be completely honest with you, I have two hopes for this episode.

1. Ashachu would appear (highly unlikely, yes I knew this).

2. This new magician will perform the same kind of magic which Lily performed. But, there will be no appearance from Ashachu.

My hopes for number one have definitely been dashed. Oh well. I can still dream about Ashachu, can't I? XD

As for number two, it's very possible. But knowing the writers, they're gonna have this girl perform some other kind of Pokemon Magic and also contradict themselves by doing so (why confuse us, writers?).

Maybe they've simply forgotten about Lily, so they came up with this new magician (again, I have no problems with new characters, I just can't figure out why the writers want to have two kinds of Pokemon Magic - it boggles the mind). You see, Pokemon Magic was a very unique concept back in Johto. But, if this new magician uses a different kind of magic which (for whatever reason) carries the same name, then it sort of defeats the original purpose, if you know what I mean.

Maybe they realized what a bad idea it was. :/

I'm expecting she's more like Melvin as she's an illusionist, not an actual use magic magician.

If it was such a bad idea in the first place, then why did the writers purposely leave so many questions unanswered?

You know, like "what did the smudged page of the spellbook say?", for instance.

And of course, I know this has nothing to do with D/P episode 70. I'm just throwing this idea out here for the sake of discussion. XD

(by the way, you don't have to respond to this if you don't want to - you can even change the subject, if you wish)

Except GS Ball has an excuse (GSDS) to reappear.
But Ashachu? Fail.

Pokemon Magic was never described as "turning people into Pokemon", in fact it was extremely vague. It just involved using Pokemon to make magic.

Am I the only one who thought of Gligar trying to...show affection towards Mimirol?
Bum-bum-bum....

Hey, I never said that was the definition of Pokemon Magic.

No, Pokemon Magic deals with spellbooks and ingredients from Pokemon. But, turning a human into a Pokemon was just an example that showed how powerful real Pokemon Magic can be.

As far as illusional magic goes, that's completely different, because it doesn't have that kinda power. Basically, it's just done so that the magician can put on a performance and make people happy.

But anyway, I'm just saying, when you consider the short amount of time they had Ashachu on screen back in those two Johto episodes (and that was VERY short), it does make sense for me to hope for a return appearance - especially when an episode with another Pokemon Magician just so happens to come up.

Again, not that I actually believed that was going to happen in this episode. Because like I said, I knew it was highly unlikely. But still, I saw nothing wrong with simply having a little hope about this.

An episode probably animated by Kinoshita with a plot focused on a spoiled Chingling.

WORST.EPISODE.EVER.

Give me the Ranger special. NOW! :S 2 weeks

^ And on top of all that this episode apparently has the same writer as the one who did the miserable Chatot episode in later BF.

It'll be a miracle if this episode turns out good, but hey, at least it has Buneary and Gligar screentime!

I never realized that that Jotho episode had any real bearing at all.

It was basically a homage to Harry Potter (I think a movie/book was being released at the time the episode aired).

I find it comepletely silly how there are people who actually believe that this homage is canon and that people actually have magical powers. It's basically a monkey wrench in the machine that is canon continuity.
