Dawn likely wins her second ribbon here, but I hope Glaceon puts up a good fight before it goes down to Piplup.

Man, if people weren't sick of Piplup yet they probably will be after this. :p
 
I'm sure sick of Piplup, wish Dawn would use more of her other Pokemon but meh. New Jappaness opeaning eh? Cool, will have to stay tuned. Wonder if any new Pokemon will be in the opeaning.
 
^no one's given confirmation if the pic is legit though so i'm not so sure, and heck loits of people are hoping it's fake cause they want May to slaughter dawn over with ease only because she has Venusaur now.>>;;

Dawn does need this win though and it is a fair fight given Glaceon is still new to May and all.
 
99% the scan is real
There's an easy way to find out if the scene is real
Anyone that watched the episodes - did they say the Ribbon is the "Aqua Ribbon"? if so than the scene is real since before today's episodes aired that would be impossible to know the Ribbon's name since none of the summaries reveled it
But it's also possible they didn't say anything about the Ribbon name in today's episodes...

It IS the Aqua Ribbon
So the scan is real - Dawn win

We know the final battle is May VS Dawn
Since the Ribbon really IS the Aqua Ribbon that confirms the scan real - which means Dawn beat May and got the Ribbon
 
Nothing has been either confirmed or denied. It would be ridiculous to the point of foolishness to expect anything less until the episode airs. One scan from an unknown source proves absolutely nothing.
 
The only way Pip can win (realistically) if it faces munchlax or beautifly. I am glad she wins though. I think May will go easy on her because she thinks she deserves it.

Why people keep saying the manga scan isn't real when we KNOW it's real?
The manga scan of Dawn holding the Ribbon was posted here BEFORE today's episodes aired
Until today's episodes aired that was unknown how the Ribbon is called since none of the summaries said it
That manga scan reveled that the Ribbon is the Aqua Ribbon - and that turned out to be correct which means the scan is real
Like it or not - Dawn beat May and gets the Ribbon
(not to mention this is not the first time a manga for an episode comes before the episode air... if it was something less important or "controversial" to some no one would try to say it's fake -_- )

It's not up yet but I saw the pics and preview on filb.de
I believe Dawn is gonna win because she hasn't won a ribbon since DP 26ish.
The scan also shows Glacion which we didn't know May was using until today

What bothers me is Piplup is used in two battle rounds in a row. I know she used Buneary for the first battle and Pachi for one but after that its all Piplup.

Piplup beats Kaito and seems to win against May too. Did Piplup really need two major wins like that? I'd rather have seen more Pachirisu or Ambipom in battles. Not to mention Piplup will have won two ribbons for Dawn and none of her others pokes won a ribbon for her.

I wish they could tone down on the D/P mascot a bit.
