The Preview shows Jessie Capturing it. There's at least a minimal chance she won't get it, a majority of it with it being kept.

She needs a new Pokemon, though. I think Yanma fits the bill.

First shes reaquainted w/ a painful memory, then looses her best contest pokemon that shes had for around 250 episodes (that translates to years in pokemon time) then she loses the appeal in front of thousands of people. There can only be so much that a person can take ='(

Both events happened in the same episode and Dustox was well on it's way out anyway.

Which she had coming after talking so much trash and acting all high and mighty about contest's.

I haven't seen the whole thing yet, but it follows with the gang shocked at what happened. At least that's what I heard.

Well, believe me when I say that's not as bad as getting a zero and having a lousy appeal to boot. At leat with this one, she honetly tried, but with the wrong Pokemon.

Personally, I hope Jessie doesn't get Yanmma. It may be a great contest Pokemon, but where can you honestly see the personality?

Preview is Youtubed and that Yanma knows how to spam Sonicboom.
It also knows Flash Cannon (I think)

Along with Buizel, man we have a hell lot of Sonicbooms in front of us >_>'

Oh, and Jessie throws that ball from TR's Magicarp mecha.

I think Taisei's Piplup is a female... does that mean Dawn's a male? I was sure Dawn's male until it wore that cheerleader outfit
It looks like Jessie is going to catch Yanma like she caught Shellder - the twerps will weak it than Jessie throw the ball... and actually if the twerps help Taisei to weak Yanma than he doesn't deserve to catch it... he should get his first capture by himself and not let others do the job for him
So unlike with James and Shellder - I won't say it's not fair if Jessie catch it... it'd be stupid if the twerps do the job for Taisei

I hope to god she doesn't, I want her to get something unique instead of a boring bug i can't see getting blasted off and pikaraped week after week, besides there's more to look at than just the contest factor, but i know people don't see those facts.--

Where did I say Jessie 100% catch it? this is a SPECULATION thread and I said that it LOOKS LIKE and not that it sure happen

Ash isn't such a good example since to get his first catch all he did was throw the ball... but May and Dawn both worked with their Pokémon to get their first capture
Taisei should work with his Pokémon too instead of have the twerps do the job and just throw the ball - in such case the twerps are the ones who deserve to get it

Seviper is as "cool" as Yanmega is and is blasting off for like 5 years already
Arbok and Weezing also weren't the kind of thing to expect conatantly get to blast off

At the last few episodes Jessie lost her only Pokémon that could win her a Ribbon
And in the Wallace Cup she failed to pass the performance round with her current Pokémon - hinting she'll have to get something new soon

At the end of the previous episode Jessie says she'll get a new friend and win her second Ribbon
Now comes an episode where we know Jessie at last try to catch a Yanma which is bug/flying just like Dustox and we know how they like to give charactrs similar Pokémon to these that left

99% Jessie gets this Yanma

Not exactly. I mean, we've never seen Seviper in the battle round, EVER, so we don't know how it'll do. It might even win more than Dustox.

The preview looks like the episode will be awesome. Please writers let Jessie catch the thing! Ash and co's facial expressions when she threw the pokeball was priceless.
