- Hikozaru's being used

- We see Gängar vs. Buoysel

- Melissa is seen freaking out at one point.

- Pikachu and Hikozaru are both seen fighting Fuwaride.

- Melissa's Mumage is also seen, but we don't see its opponent.

- Jun's watching the match with Hikari and Takeshi.

wow! really interesting how chimchar is doing that fire attack-is it little chimmy though? or, fuwaaride using psychic to control the flames? Chimchar might get into its special blaze-condition being under all the ghost attacks and everything....

Good. Chimchar is being used in a battle, though I wish that Gliscor could be in a battle for once.

QFT! :DDD *rejoices*

*agree*
Now after Ash beat him and after Jun will see him beat Fantina while he lost to her- I think Jun might change his opinion about Ash
But the really interesting thing is what he'll think about Paul... I can't wait for Jun to meet Paul already!
I really hope Jun stay for a while with the twerps but I know he'll probably stay in Hearthome to try and challenge Fantina again

For Ash's Gym battle- I hope Chimchar do more than in Veilstone Gym
Looks like it'll be a great episode too and so are all the next episodes!

Jun staying with Ash and the gang for a bit would be fun to watch IMO. But hopefully that would develope Ash and Juns rivalry. This episode looks like fun.

Jun should join the group, bring the group back up to a team of 4. Jun would be great to have in every episode, too bad he can't replace Brock or anything. :p

I get the feeling Jun can't cook, so he, Ash and Hikari would be totally lost if Brock left.

That said, it would've been so neat if Jun joined the gang. He's such a great character!

People should stop say this about Brock
Remember the Orange Islands existed?
Not to mention it seems like Dawn can cook at least a few things and also make Poffins for the Poké
And let's not forget you can eat as much as you want in any Poké Center and take food with you - all for free
So Brock isn't as necessary as some say (especially when we have episodes like the sick Pachi one that prove us Ash and Dawn both learn from Brock so they should know a few things already)

OMG OMG OMG More Jun!!!
I'm so happy that the writers are giving him more screentime!
I love the writers now!

I will be loving it if Jun joined the group to Canalave leading up to a lake trio arc hopefully?

Jun had a match against Melissa before Satoshi arrived. Jun lost, so of course Jun will have to stay in Yusoga City when Satoshi leaves to have a rematch with Melissa. Thus, this episode will definately be the last one Jun is in for a while, sadly. He'll probably appear later on as they set him up to be a recurring character with all that praise of Shinji he did...

The animation for this Gym looks amazing. Iwane's at it again, obviously. I really hope Buizel ain't the first one to go down as everyone predict :p

Yah I also think they'd be fine if Brock left, all the writers have to do is have Brock teach Ash how to cook than he could be the more responsible one of the group. It'd be fun, he'd have to deal with Jun's crazyness and Dawns well you know how it goes LOL. Yah man they really need to do some thing like that for the next generationXD

He doesn't really MUST stay in Hearthome
He can learn from Ash that you can train with the same team that lost and than win (he said something about just using another Poké next time) so maybe he'll take some time to train and return later to Hearthome

Everytime a new, likable character with charisma shows up, we're so eager to give Brock the boot. It's pretty much guaranteed that Ash will win.

Well isn't it obvious by now the writers should have had Ash with a new male sidekick?

DP would be a lot better if Ash was traveling with Dawn and Jun, rather than Brock. Aside from his great Pokemon, there was really no reason to bring Brock into DP in the first place, he should have left at the end of AG.

But... what role would Jun exactly have if he'd replaced Brock? Remember Ash's first Gym Battle in Sinnoh? People were complaining at the remote possibility that they'd have to sit through all of Paul's matches as well as Ash's, and that was at the first gym. Soon as it came time for the match against Gardenia, people were relieved bebcause Paul wasn't there. And Paul's only a reoccuring character; imagine what it would be like having to sit through all of Jun's Gym matches as well.
