[bp=DP106]Bulbapedia link[/bp]

- The school is ran by Rocket-dan

Airs December 11 at 19:00 JST on TV Tokyo.

Edit: Quite late but PICS!

It's an Inomoo, not Manmoo.

I'm glad the school is being run by the Rocket-Dan. Even though Hikari and Inomoo will probably work out the problem by the end of the episode, the Rocket-Dan running the place should make this a lively episode.

I think that Piloswine will be furious at Dawn for not being able to notice that it is a fake made by JJM. Thus making situation worse.

It really doesn't seem quite as disobedient as has been assumed. Hikari just kinda sighs because it's not doing things how she wants. It's definitely not a Lizardon situation again or Hikari would look more upset.

If anything it doesn't seem to like Potchama anymore.

This episode seems to be as much about Ash training Grotle as Dawn training Piloswine. Both are having problems and both seem to be acting the same.

Grotle obey Ash at least and Grotle is pushing himself unlike Piloswine. I guess Piplup criticizes Piloswine for not listening to Dawn and it anger Piloswine and it start attacking Piplup for trying to act like a senior! Imagine, a weak and short noob order a big and strong bully, what will the bully think?(although Piloswine is not a bully XD) Piplup is unevolved while Piloswine has evolve once so it is reasonable for Piloswine to attack Piplup. I can't wait to see the conflict between Piloswine and Piplup!

At least Dawn finally has a Pokemon that isn't small and cute, that alone is cause for celebration. Its about time she got something that wasn't "cute" or "girly."

I bet Pochama is stronger anyway because it's had way more training.

Inomoo will probably evolve by the end of this episode. I want to see people riding on Manmoo. XD

Ok. So this episode looks like it'll be good. Interesting that TR is in charge of the school. Nice to see As battling with Grotle. Looks like Mamoswine is coming pretty soon with it being in the opening and with Piloswine apparently already knowing Ancientpower.

That move was AncientPower?! I thought it was an ice move! Oh well. That WOULD explain them skipping Piloswine in the opening and putting in Mamoswine right away. If it'd evolve in a couple of episodes anyway, why waste time on a bit that'd only be there for all of two, three episodes?

On the other hand, as much as I like seeing evolutions, I feel they're rushing this a tad. I like Piloswine. Call me a sucker for middle evolutions. Then again, Mamoswine IS awesome.

I got the impression that it just couldn't hear Dawn's commands properly. Cause Piplup kept lifting its ears up.

Thus a point for equality?

It's kinda awkward that she has a Piloswine (and soon-to-be Mamoswine). It definitely stands out of that category. It's like an early reference to "blazing her guns".

Missingno. Master said:

I agree. It should have more screentime before a nice evolution.

Why do I get the awkward feeling that Piloswine will be the whole 'Ash's Charizard disobeys him' all over again? As much as I like the wooly pig (heck, Mammoswine is my favourite of Swinub's evolutions!), I keep getting these flash-forwards that Ash will say something along the lines of "Y'know, my Charizard wouldn't obey me either until I helped it calm down!" or Piloswine will evolve in three or four episodes time into a disobeying Mammoswine (although, that's a bonus and a half!)

Team Rocket running a school? With Jessie as the teacher, James as support and Meowth and Wobbuffet as students? Wicked! Even better if Wobbuffet's carrying those pointy sticks teachers always seem to have...

It seems that whenever a Pokémon learns an attack that makes them evolve, they seem to evolve almost instantly, only using the move once or twice:

1.Bonsly used mimic and evolved in the very next episode
2.Aipom learned Double Hit and evolved in the same episode
3.Jessie's Yanma used Ancientpower and evolved right after
4.The Lickitung in Aoi's care used Rollout once and evolved into Lickilicky

Presumably because most of the listed Pokemon has to learn the specific attack before they can evolve in the games. But, then, we all know that.

And, interestingly enough, all of the listed Pokemon still remain loyal to their Trainers, yet Piloswine said 'Knickers!' to that (in Piloswinese) and starts to disobey Dawn. Another first in the anime world of Pokemon? (I can't remember if Ash's Charmander learnt a new move before it evolved into a Charmeleon, but that doesn't count since Charmander evolves normally.)

I have a thought that after half of the ep. Dawn figures out how to deal with Piloswine and finally start practicing with it. But soon after the practice start, it accidentally use AncientPower instead of Ice Shard. And evolve in the next contest. It starts to disobey Dawn again after evolving into a Mamoswine. Dawn lose the match. She decide to learn from Jessie.

You left one. James's Mime Jr didn't evolve after using/learning Mimic. (although it can be explained that he didn't let it battle so it cannot LV up.) So it can be the same for Piloswine. I guess it'll have to battle a lot to level up.

It doesn't explain why it will attack Piplup. My guess is that Piloswine didn't want to enter contests after evolving so it disobey Dawn. Piplup misunderstand that it is because of the thick fur that block its ear. Piloswine got furious at Piplup for lifting up its fur without its permission. This makes its ear feel cold without the fur hiding it. Therefore it push Piplup down a hole and attack Piplup. Pryce's Piloswine can hear his commands after all.

Of course, levels don't actually exist in the anime so...

Pokémon seem to evolve if they use the move alot, and Pokémon do have some control over when they evolve. How many times has Mime Jr. used mimic?

How many times did Bonsly use Mimic, again?
