DP119-120: One Hour Special 3/26

Calling DP119 to be a remake of Charizard Chills.

And what is this about the Teachy TV in DP120? '_' Weird.

I'm thinking that the Aggron might be Kenny's.

Betting that 120 is a clip show.
If it is, I hope it's dubbed, even though it probably wouldn't. That's annoying that they weren't dubbed, even if the first one did apparently suck.

Also, if Mamoswine does become obedient at this time, who wants to see the twerps riding on it through the snow ala Lapras?

Kenny having an Aggron is a bit....laughable. It doesn't seem like him to own something that powerful. I think it's probably a random trainer who has one.

It looks a bit interesting, and as for 120, it's a bit too vague.

Man...from the title of one-hour special I thought this would be the Candice Gym battle. Ah well.

Am I the only one who wishes they'd speed up a little now? I am actually eager to get to the end of Sinnoh already.

Well, Brendan has an Aggron... chances of him showing up are about 0, though.

I'm still betting they're extending it as long as they can so that we don't get past Snowpoint too long before Movie 12.

Maybe another Summer Academy-type thing?

If it gets Conway and Angie back again, I'm for it.

If its a special, shouldnt they have something in common?

I dunno who has the Aggron, but its a Charizard Chills remake. Since its taken a liking to contest battles, it'll probably be another coordinator with the Aggron. So maybe Kenny, but considering he's fallen off the face of the planet...

And Teachy TV? what are they gonna do, be on it? Teach kids about Pokemon training? Because thats totally useful to us...

Sounds like dull eps until we get more information.

I really wish this 1-hour special was the Candice Gym. Or another Galactic ep or something.

It feels as if Sinnoh is starting to lose some steam now. I just wish they didn't have such odd pacing in this arc with its characters and important events.

There have been plenty of 1 hour specials with nothing in common between the episodes.

Where the heck is the 7th gym? We saw a map, there isn't that much of a distance between Akebi Town and Kissaki City.

This seems about the right about of time to have Manmoo become obedient. That's the one thing they have the timing right on, assuming that's what the episode is about.

DP120's title is just bizarre. If it is a clip show, I'm glad they're once again pairing it with a regular episode.

Sucks that there's a break on the 19th, since that's when I have Spring Break.

Oh come on! When are we gonna get Kissaki Gym?

I'm glad something's happening with Manmoo at least, but the second title (without summary and whatnot) just sounds weird. I really hope it's not a clip show.

The DP120 title sounds too random...

And I don't see anything Teachy TV-related here.

Anyway, I hope it is NOT a clip show. Clip shows are the most useless episodes in the Pokemon anime...

This airs a week before the 12th anniversary of the series so I suppose the second episode could be a clip show, though that's not the vibe I'm getting from the title.

I saw an episode of Dragon Ball teaching fire safety the other day - (Did you know Roshi and his students were firefighters at one point?) - so my first thought was that this could be some form of edutainment.

Or maybe it will just be an episode about Gary doing research.

Heh, when DP began I remember all the speculation about Gary being a major character this arc, heavily involved in the Galactic plot or with the legends...and look what we got.

Gary has been in 2 measly episodes, and he's not involved with any of the shows major story arcs. Its almost like he's not even in this region.

Granted he's fared better than Kenny, who seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth.

It's crazy how many times you repeat that and how you don't get it that you're probably the only one or one of a few that believed Gary would play any important role
There's absolutely no reason for Gary to be an important character now... we have more than enough of these characters anyway... just be happy he's there at all

We just recently got reminded of Kenny and were updated with how much ribbons he has
