DP133 has been confirmed to be Uxie's Shadow. What does the shadow have to do with anything? Mysterious and intriguing. Speculate nao!

Please let Brock and Croagunk see it... also since Dawn saw Mesprit at morning and Ash saw Azelf at night, I think it could be nice if Brock see Uxie at the sunset

Oooh! Exciting times! Does this mean anything for Ginga Dan...dun dun DUUUUN!

Given Ash and Paul are at the lake in the previous episode, I'm betting Paul will see Uxie.

The title is on Pokeani.

Doesn't this one represent knowledge though? That has Takeshi written all over it. It also makes more sense since Shinji would now have to get involved in the Ginga-Dan plot, and I just don't think he fits.

It'll be a shame if it isn't Takeshi, but if it has to be like that, I hope he makes an allusion (like in movie 11) that he's been left out yet again :p

Paul is knowledgeable, and he's more involved in DP's story.

Would the writers really chose Brock over Paul? It also seems suspicious that Ash and Paul just happen to have a battle by the lake...which is why Paul may also be in this episode.

Paul is knowledgeable

Not really, he -thinks- he knows all but he doesn't know the most important thing
Having Paul meet Uxie would seem to hint Paul is smart and as result that it's smart to act like him which is NOT what they're trying to tell us

and he's more involved in DP's story.

He's not involved in the Galactic plot at all
Even Brock got more involved with the Croagunk/Toxicroak rivalry

Would the writers really chose Brock over Paul?

Because two of the three main characters saw the other two?
To give Brock the minimum he deserve to get and not make him even more pointless?
Because knowledge is the best definition of Brock's character?
...

Actually Paul already was lately in 1 episode and now he gets 2 parter
They usually don't let a character stay any longer than three episodes
I won't be so sure Paul is still there... he could leave right after the battle

I won't say there's no chance for Paul to see it but... it'd be really stupid and would make Brock even more ridiculous than he already is now

If paul sees uxie then I have one idea. He gets a divine intervention and sees how proper it is to treat your Pokemon right after he gets his ass handed to him from ash.

Uxie is the yellow one, right?

And how long has it been since Satoshi saw the pink one?

DP 1 - Dawn and Piplup see Mesprit (pink, emotion) in Lake Verity at morning
DP 78 - Ash and Pikachu see Azelf (blue, willpower) in Lake Valor at night
About 55 epiosdes have went since Ash saw Azelf... and we had 77 episodes since Mesprit to Azelf
And now DP 133 - Uxie (yellow, knowledge) in Lake Acuity...

Well, they can have him act smart, and yet keep his snotty personality in the hopes of not having kids act like him.

Yeah, so far, Paul has not been involved in the Galactic plot. In fact, the only thing Paul has anything to do with Galactic is the fact that his hometown is the same town that the Galactic HQ is at.

Because two of the three main characters saw the other two?

I agree with two out of three of those reasons. I can't really imagine the third reason, though, seeing how Brock has been fooled too many times by Team Rocket's disguises to even imagine him having intelligence (I mean, if they wanted him to be the smart character in the show, why didn't they give him the ability to not only tell that a disguise is fake, but also know who the true identities of those in disguise are?), plus, he kinda fell for James's white lie once in "Holy Matrimony". Uxie was implied to be the master of absolute knowledge (in other words, all forms of knowledge). He may have battling experience, but he doesn't seem to be that intelligent. There's a chance Brock may get it, and I'm not saying Paul should encounter Uxie, but I do think that Brock getting it is a small chance, anyways, considering his track record.

i said this before and I will say it again. The only way Paul will see Uxie is if he sees the smartness behind treating your Pokemon with respect and kindness. And I can see it happening in only 1 way. He cracksdown. Ash beats him he doesn't believe it goes mute and sees Uxie's shadow and turns a bit respectful towards others and his Pokemon. Kinda like how silver turned at the end of gsc.

No one on this show is smart if you're going to judge intelligence by that. Shinji didn't seem to know who there were either when they were grooming his Dodaitose.

The disguises were obvious anyways. Heck, Misty has been shown to actually see through Team Rocket's disguises from time to time, and it's not just for the other characters, but also for her own group. I mean, why couldn't they give Brock that ability? If they wanted to make him the smart character, they should have given him that ability in the first place.

Don't bother with him
He can't even understand what's a funny scene supposed to be (he complain about the very funny scene of Ash/Brock crying about James in that ep!)

But then a lot of the fun would be taken out of the show if he could see through their disguises so easily.

Takeshi is book smart. That's the kind of smarts that really matter on this show.
