Review DP133: Yuxie's Shadow!

[Dogasu]

- Hikari's narrating the preview while an instrumental of Kimi no Soba de - Hikari no Teema plays.

- Satoshi is sitting on a hill looking upset after his loss. And please, don't anybody say that he looks "emo."

- As Hikari says she's going to try to cheer him up, we see a shot of Potchama stretching its face around.

- Yuxie appears over the lake, and in the next shot, we see Takeshi.

- Mimirol and Pachirisu are also seen doing antics, presumably to cheer Satoshi up.

- The Rocket-Dan are in their construction worker outfits again. We also see them running with Habunake.

- The preview ends with Joy showing our heroes an old book with Yuxie's picture in it, followed by a shot of Takeshi appearing to recognize it.


The various shots in the preview pretty much confirm that Takeshi is the one who sees Yuxie.

That's not emo. That looks borderline demonically possessed. Unless I've just seen too much Digimon in my day (although he'd need to be smiling emptilly for that).

I still have hopes for Random Galactics at the end. Like they're walking away and Brock's all "Well, Uxie huh? Neat. And I talked to JOOOOOOYYYY!" and as they head off we see Jupiter (or J possibly) with a writing sack.

...yes a sack. It's what they used in DPA! after all.

I'm glad we already know Takeshi is seeing it. That should save some pointless speculation for the time being.

Seems kinda weird to see some goofyness next week after the past two weeks, but this isn't some serious show afterall. It looks like this could be a good balance actually.

...How many characters in Digimon were denomically possessed (and didn't have red eyes when that was happening?) Besides like, Daimon Suguru's body and Kouichi? Ken doesn't count either.

I'm getting Ginga withdrawal because I need more Mars and Silver fanfic ideas.

Also, please more of Joy's Lucky cockblocking Takeshi - or sitting menacingly while Joy looks up Yuxie.

The fact that so many people on the Internet have no frickin' clue what the word "emo" means is one of my biggest pet peeves.

No, being upset over losing is not "being emo." It's called "being upset."

But anyway...I'm glad Takeshi's going to be the one to see it. His character really needs to have a reason for being in Shin'ou in the first place I wonder how Gureggru will act?

He was so upset for he was defeated by Shinji, and his newly evolve Moukuzaru was injured.

And, we called it. Takeshi sees Yuxie. I'm still expecting for Ginga-dan somewhere in the episode... like Jupiter or, Pluto.

Are you guys positive that Brock has done "practically nothing"? for the saga?

You guys seem to write off most of episodes focused on him as fillers. Just because he doesn't go on a trinket quest, doesn't mean that he isn't important to the group.

His pokemon roster hasn't changed in over a hundred episodes. And that Breeder goal of his? When was the last time that was brought up?

Yes, he's important to the group - as the random fillers show us - but as far as character development goes, he hasn't really had any.

The funny thing is even though Brock sees Uxie, I bet he'll do absolutely nothing when the final Galactic showdown happens eventually.

Patience, young grasshopper. Galactic will have thier two episodes and we can all just drop it.

I knew Brock would see Uxie. The wise character seeing the being of intelligence. Didn't see that one coming.

So does Dawn think some contest moves will cheer Ash up? I havent seen the preview, but really Dawn, he's not a coordinator! D:

I am glad Brock sees it, it would have been sad if some one else had. And poor Ash, he does look really depressed in that image wow, I've never seen him look so down before. Will he start to rethink his methodes of training?
