I was just about to post this in the other thread... not sure if the DP155 summary was translated so I tried that too:

DP155 Hinoarashi and Manmoo! Double battle!
Nozomi is one step ahead for qualification in the Grand Festival.
Hikari is also aiming for the Asatsugi tournament, but while doing special training, something unexpected happens...

Tatsu-baasan(Grandma Wilma) is teaching Draco meteor to a dragon type pokemon. Hearing the method of teaching the move, Satoshi wants to begin to teach it to a wild Fukamaru through special training.

So not Kazunari's Gible then. Good. But laughing out loud he wants to help a wild Gible learn draco meteor. That has to be one of the weirdest captures.

Hold on "something unexpected" happens in DP155. Seriously? It can't be an energy ball Grotle scenario. Maybe Cyndaquil activates Blaze.
 
And it isn't an egg either, so that discussion can finally stop - it's a wild Gible
About the Contest ep, the wording in the summary make it seem like Zoey already has 5 ribbons, as it says only Dawn is preparing for Asatsuki
So I guess this is the case, Zoey already has 5 ribbons, she's just training with Dawn anyway as the GF is double performance too so she's also working on the same thing
 
Why do the writers like to screw with us!

I'm never watching this show ever again if they fake us out one more time.
 
Perhaps the "something unexpected" may have to do with Paul appearing in a contest episode? He was seen in the episode preview (of course that could be a flashback for the future Buizel episode).
We may get to see the old woman who teaches Draco Meteor in the game.
And for some reason, Ash wants to train a pokemon without capturing it first?

It's not THAT strange... it's totally in character for Ash to help a wild Pokémon (I assume it's the Gible who's trying to learn the attack and Ash offer to help it, not that Ash randomly call a random Gible for no reason and train it)

I don't want to copy and paste why I think it's unlikely, so I'll just ask.

Why couldn't the move tutor herself teach this Gible?

And I will also say that it seems unlikely that the only thing Ash gets out of helping Gible the satisfaction of helping it. After all if you don't have dragon type Pokemon. Learning how to teach the move is pointless even for "Filler" purposes.
 
Why would a wild Gible need draco meteor? Oh look theres an apple in that tree I wish I could get to it.....DRACO METEOR!!!!!!!!! Oh no I blew up the tree, if only I wasn't taught such a powerful move.
 
I didn't try to say Ash won't catch it, we know he will... just that at first he'll probably just offer to help it and then the Gible decide to join him or maybe Ash try to catch it
Why couldn't the move tutor do it? I don't know, let's wait for the ep... it just seems too strange for Ash to randomly call a random Gible - it makes more sense that the Gible tried to train itself and Ash try to help it

By the way, it's very likely this will be the last episode of season 12
It'd be episode 1251 (S##EP##)
There's a little chance DP157 will be the last one to make it exactly 52 eps - but in season 10 the season was 51 eps as if they counted the skipped recap episode, so I believe the same will happen now again

I guess if Ash does catch Gible this would be the perfect episode to end the season.

Of course there was no break between Battle Dimension and Galactic Battles. Hopefully it's not too much to ask for another non break between seasons.

Anyway seems like Zoey is going to participate in that contest along with Dawn. I reaally don't know what to say about that.

Weird way to capture a Pokemon, for sure.

Um (dub name already please) Tatsu-basaan is likely the anime equivalent of the move tutor in the games that teaches Draco Meteor to dragon Pokemon.

I say likely because unlike the game, there may be more than one draco meteor move tutor in the anime.

Edit: Never mind didn't think she had a name in the games, never mind then. It is the game move tutor.

Edit 2: I never thought she had a name because I didn't actually let her teach Draco Meteor to any of my Pokemon. I didn't realize she already had a "dub" name.
