Review DP163: Explosive Evolution! Goukazaru!!

[Dogasu]

- Jun and his Empärt are fighting Satoshi and Moukazaru. Moukazaru, according to Satoshi's narration, has taken a lot of damge.

- Moukazaru starts going berserk like it did in DP 081.

- We see Shinji appear.

- The Rocket-Dan are in this mecha that looks like it was made from the basket of their hot air balloon. They try to capture Empärt and the enraged Moukazaru.

- Hikari and Takeshi are trapped in some kind of giant bubble.

- Moukazaru attacks the Rocket-Dan's mecha, destroying it.


There isn't a single shot of Goukazaru in the preview.

No Infernape? strange. Paul appear, great, although he wasn't mentioned in any summary.

It looks like Paul's simply rescuing Monferno from capture by Team Rocket by getting through to it somehow (in some way Ash couldn't...? wtf?) to order a command so it can free itself.

Then again that was just one shot of Paul yelling a command that could be for anything, really.

All the elements of this episode from the previous description ought to make this a fun time, at least. If Dawn and Brock are captured too, I wonder if that might force Ash/Barry/Paul to work together...

Does seem a bit strange they didn't show any Infernape in that, since a lot of the time when evolutions happen then preview tend to be all over it, at least showing us the pokemon glowing. Especially since it's in the title and all. Looks to be promising, but then again that's based on the fact we're getting Infernape from this. Maybe we'll actually see it in the PS preview.

Which is a shame, now I'll have to wait another week just to see Infernape...

Anyway I did see most of the preview, and wow Monferno with blaze activated is kicking butt.

Uh Team Rocket just so you know when something is going that crazy I'm almost positive you don't want to capture it.

And lol at Paul for just standing there and yelling as if he's one of those spectators that ruins movies.

I really hate how much the Rockets are involved. With so much going on they really should barely be in the episode.

Next week will certainly be interesting...

just saw the preview, wish it had monferno's evolution being showed or i wish it would have been atleast glowing, but anyway now its pretty much confirmed that its going to evolve, just a week to go, cant wait. I'd like infernape to learn blast burn
