DP173- A Staraptor Episode

I am pretty sure it will learn a new move but I am on my toes because what if Staraptor is released or something? Hopefully not but it would most likely learn a new move. Personally, I think Conway will make his Sinnoh League challenge debut here and they will have a battle.:D
 
The first thing that jumped to my mind when I read this was a release
But I think it's much more likely that Staraptor will just learn a new attack or have a battle or something like this
But I'll laugh so much if Ash release ANOTHER Poké just because of people's reaction XD maybe Riolu still has a chance to get into Ash's team? *run away and hides where no one will ever find me*
 
My dear friends, original poster of this episode title has posted another fake title before. Anyways, copy pasta from my post from Serebii:

Except for Pidgeot none of regional birds were released and I can't see any point in Staraptor's release considering that Predator Pokémon was cockfighting and was doing pretty good against our purple headed asocial jerkass' arrogant Big Boss raven, and quite literally blew up same jerkass' more arrogant acrobatic speed devil weasel's ego, by Close Combating and Bravely Birding the weasel like a true warrior. Not to mention our hawk's appearances in our current Japanese Opening The Greatest Everyday.

I do agree Kohei might appear in this episode, it is practically one of his fewest chances to appear before Shinou League.

Yeah, we better see this as fake/unconfirmed until there's a proof... I don't want to get disappointed again after the fake Misty/Togetic titles...
 
It's likely a fake title. The guy at SPP posted fake titles in the past.

Any posters or art of this? I have a knack for guessing things from pictures ;-)

If it's a new move, I'm thinking something other than generic wing/beak attacks. Air Cutter? Air Slash? Razor wind?

We only have the title, which is not from a trustyworthy source.

In addition, Serebii didn't seem to confirm the title yet.
Most likely this is a fake title.
Besides, I honestly can't see a reason as to why the writers would come up with a Staraptor episode. Staraptor has practically finished in terms of development, other than the Sinnoh League.
There are time constraints with this section of the series, especially with Gen V bound to come out in Fall of 2010. This anime will probably last until then. With 20+ episodes remaining, the writers can't really afford to placet more fillers.
 
I would have liked to see a Staraptor episode before the league... but I really don't see any other move it could really learn. It already had Close combat and Brave bird...

Too bad it's fake
 
This title is definately fake but TVnavi (a Japanese TV guide) which was released today in Japan seems to say that DP173 is an episode about Ditto and DP174 is likely an episode about a new Piplup/Cyndaquil combination.

When is the Grand Festival?
 
If it is about Ditto hopefully either Duplica or Brodie appears as I would rather see an older character. Brodie could be after another Ribbon Cup so that way we can stop hearing Scott complaining about when the Grand Festival will be
