It is probably Ash VS. Conway battle. Can't wait.
 
Apparenlty, there's also another break after this episode. I was really hoping for a double episode by now.
 
If they continue with these breaks, we're definitely up for a rushed league. :confused:
 
I can kinda see Snorlax, Muk, or Donphan staring here assuming Ash uses them. We still have no indication when the full battles are starting.
 
That was expected for July to only have 3 eps... I guess August's 4 eps will conclude this League with Ash VS Paul and Ash VS legenadry trainer
If they really want to give this League an 8th ep, then the League might still continue in the first September ep, but I'd prefer September's 2-3 DP eps to focus on Brock leaving and Dawn leaving and Ash going to Isshu, rather than rush this just to give the League one more ep


Anyway... I wonder how Trick Room would be in the anime... reading the Bulbapedia description of the attack, the only thing I can imagine is maybe that Ash uses light little Poké that can move fast like Totodile against a big heavy and slow Pokémon of Conway (or random trainer like Katie?) and then Conway (or the random character) use Trick Room which is like replacing the two Poké's weight, so Toto feels too heavy and barely can move and the heavy Poké is running VERY fast... it could be funny to see something like that XD
 
So this is Ash vs Conway, right? Say hello to a rushed league. :/

Looking at the page, Slowking can actually learn the move. Interesting.
 
Sounds great... but yeah, this just reeks of Conway to use a move like Trick Room... too bad Ash didn't get a pokemon whose storyline was that he lost its speed when he evolved and got bigger/heavier, Oh wait... This could be the battle that'll focus on Torterra and close its issues with speed and movement.

I wonder if this is still the third round, or the start of the fourth. I guess we have to wait and see if Ash has already finished the 2/3rd rounds by DP 184.

Unless Ash fights Paul in the finals... Ash v Conway would have to be in the third round since there's 32 contestants in the first round.
 
True, well I guess Ash vs Paul's battle has a chance of actually being a 1 hour special. That would be pretty awesome actually.

Looking forward to Conway's antics in this episode.
 
Man the title sounds really awesome and does sound like something Conway would do in a situation like this. I can see him starting out with Slowking and switching to use Trick Room like Paul did with Electabuzz'z Light Screen. A way he could trump this I see him using is Snorlax to nullify that moves effects. Slowking has Protect too so it will be very similar to Paul.
 
Okay, so Conway has a Slowking who can learn Trick Room...but wouldn't it be much cooler if he had Porygon-Z (who's btw the only Pokemon who can learn the Trick Room naturally).

If Trick Room allows slower Pokemon to attack first, Ash's Torterra, Torkoal and even Snorlax could have some serious advantage.
 
Torkal, Muk, Donphan, Snorlax, and Torterra all have potential to seriously pwn here. Still, I hope this is a full battle. I wonder if Paul, and Reggie are gonna watch this match?

Most likely(for Paul at least) seing that Paul is going to beat Barry and he'll probably want to see any strategies that Ash might be using. Not very sure on Reggie tho.
 
While Ash using a heavy Poké like Snorlax makes sense in this case, I hope he also use a little one like Toto and find a way to work good with it despite the effects of Trick Room
I could see Toto and Torterra share the spotlight in this battle
 
I think we'll be seeing Slowbro, Aggron, and Lickilicky during this battle from Conway's side. From Ash's we'll see Snorlax, Totodile and Pikachu.
