Ash aims to be a Pokemon master. Dawn dreams of being a top coordinator. Brock begins to hesitate over his own goal as he watches them both.

Then a crisis occurs... The conclusion coming next week.

Ash (after finishing the Sinnoh League), Dawn and Brock are taking a ship towards Twinleaf, Dawn's hometown. As the long trip moves closer to its end little by little...a feeling of loneliness starts to creep in. Then a Pichu appears. Instinctively all 3 begin to smile as expected.
Other cute pokemon follow, Teddiursa, Igglybuff, Azurill, and Cleffa in sequence! Just then a harmonious mood fills the deck.

However...something devious was taking place underneath the ship in the bottom of the sea. Team Rocket disturbs the Tentacruel and Tentacool that were living peacefully. These angry jellyfish rush to the surface of the sea. All the pokemon on board don't notice anything, and then a crisis comes...

Well looks like we know Brocks goal, it just randomly poped up LOL Sad for Brock that it came like thisXD At least he actually gets an episode for himself even though its his last till maybe the next series after Best Wishes, if the owners of Pokemon decide they want him back like Jhoto. I wouldn't mind than, cuz at least we'd have had a break from him a bit.
 
Oh, but he wanted to become a top breeder, not doctor =[ anyway, oh I feel so sad, without this guy in background, it's going to be really strange to watch Pokemon.
 
I imagine doctoring and breeding are essentially quite similar -- both are focused on keeping pokemon healthy and strong.

Besides, Brock's been around for...how long? Goals can change. Nice that he gets a farewell ep (until BW, anyway, probably...) that's actually dedicated to him.
 
He's been around for 620 episodes (he missed 30, remember). To be honest, thank god he's leaving. He only got three or so lines every episode, so he should have left back in Kanto.
 
If this Doctor thing is true I wonder if Happiny will evolve in this episode highly unlikely but it may be possible. So I guess it's comfirmed that Dawn leaves in the next episode I wonder how they'll handle her send off.

I wonder if giving him a Happiny was on purpose or whether it was the inspiration behind it.
 
Ah so it's now confirmed that the league will be ending in 189. Well I hope they do a good job of giving brock a proper departure in this episode. The fact that he is getting his own episode is a good start though.
 
I could see him leaving off with Nurse Joy and then Happiny (and probably Croagunk) would evolve. I hope Brock would get a proper departure, he has been on the show for 650+ episodes.
 
It's about damn time he left to pursue his proper goal. Babysitting Ash and co. has really been holding Brock back.
 
LOL I could see the flashbacks now, "Remember the good old days guys" Ash and Dawn flashback to some Brock scenes, Ash and Dawn mostly doing things with Brock in the background. Good times, good timesXD

I keep flashing back to Professor Ivy.

Well, maybe Happiny becomes a Chansey to augment this decision.
 
Yay! Takeshi gets his own farewell episode! :-D I know Hikari is a co-star and all, but Takeshi has been around so long that he deserves to get an episode to himself. I'm also thinking Pinpuku will evolve, and maybe he'll be shipped with a Joi?

And for those doubting the translation, the entire title is written in katakana. It's definitely doctor.

I actually like Brock, and it`s little sad that he leaves..

Hopefully he will marry Joy! <3 That would be so sweet : D
It would be like "Brock`s dream come true" : D

Happiny evolving..? Maybe?
 
Man that would be hilarious if a nurse joy actually returned his love confession. It took him hundreds of tries but he finally manages to reel one in. XD

Oh wait, but then croagunk...
 
LOL, after they announced Brock will find a new goal, a lot of people said he might decide to be a doctor and help a Joy, because the DP series really emphasized the fact he can heal hurt Poké
They were right... sadly, that means no Holly... if anything, it'll involve a random Nurse Joy... meh
Also, I'm seriously annoyed there's only 2 eps for the final and not 3 - we should've got one ep for Brock, one for Dawn and one where the trio do one last battle together and then go their separate ways... I'll be seriously annoyed if the last ep doesn't almost completely focus on Dawn since otherwise, her departure will be even more random and ridiculous than Brock's
