I'm not sure if we already got these summaries or not so if someone already posted them this thread can be locked
http://pc.webnt.jp/anime/detail0071091107.html
(ignore the air dates - they probably didn't update it when 53 got delayed)

All I could get from this by google's translation is that in DP55 (Aipom and Buizel) Zoey reveal the next contest is in Solaceon and Dawn has a practice battle with her and use Buizel
And in the next episode Buizel is training its Sonicboom attack
I guess they don't trade in DP55 but only understand the problem of Aipom/Buizel and decide to try and work with them to make them learn to love gyms/contests.... if they fail in that they might eventually trade (though they might trade now and this is Ash training Buizel's Sonicboom but it seems more likely to me Dawn will use Buizel at least in one contest)

DP55 - Hikari meets Nozomi after long time. She learns that next Contest is Zui Town, then Hikari & Buoysel train for contest. Blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda. Pure routine.

DP56 - During the training, Buoysel fires a Sonic Boom at a tower and destroys it. Then, Mikaruge appears and attacks Satoshi-tachi.

DP57 - Satoshi-tachi are in some bridge construction work and meet Pokemon Breeder Ishisu. They learn that Beadal is disturbing the work.

DP58 - Satoshi-tachi meet COTD named Atsuo (no Honoka!) who has a Nosepass. Satoshi battles with him. The fierce battle is interrupted by Atsuo. That may be somewhat related to Nosepass' evolution (I don't really understand that part.)

Dull episodes. Well. I'm waiting for Zui.

Here is my trial translation on these summaries (combined with some information not in the original summaries but released by the Pokeani forum guys{the underlined part}), hope this helps.

NB: the underlined part is not officially confirmed yet.

PS: summary of DP54 is translated from the one on the official Japanese DP site.

DP54: During their journey, our heroes visit Tajiki Town and meet the Eterna Gym Leader Gardenia, who is organising a promotional activity of Pokemon battle to the kids in the town. Team Rocket arrive there too. And by the suggestion of Gardenia, Ash & friends aggree to have a tag battle against the partnership of Gardenia & James. Gardenia points out that Cacnea has the quality to become a really tough Pokemon, and that James is not using it to its full potential and she proposes that James leave Cacnea with her...

James decides to give a serious training to Cacnea, and Cacnea is so concentrated on the training that it totally ignores the fact that it looks ragged and dirty now. However, James totally loses his confidence because no satisfactory results could be achieved. It's right then that Gardenia shows up in front of James again!

DP55: Dawn and friends meets Zoey again during their journey, and from Zoey, Dawn learns that the next Contest will be held in Solaceon Town. Together with Zoey, Dawn begins the Contest training. However, her Buizel seems to be more interested in Ash's battle training and thus can't set its mind on Dawn's training; meanwhile Ash's Aipom appears to have a similar problem in Ash's training because it tends to be more interested in Dawn's Contest training. Then Zoey proposes that Ash and Dawn try exchanging the two Pokemon as a trade...

DP56: In a training, Buizel uses Sonicboom and destroys a stone tower by accident. Then from under the debris appears the Forbidden Pokemon Spiritomb, who begins to attack Ash and co. And then our heroes start the trial of re-sealing Spiritomb.

DP57: Before an under-construction stone bridge, Ash and friends meet the Breeder Mr. Ishisu, who is having a quarrel with the designer of the bridge. They are having sort of a headache because the "employee"--the Beaver Pokemon Bibarel, who is supposed to do the quarrying, now doesn't work. Ash and friends offer to help with the quarrying work, however...

DP58: Ash and co. meet a boy called Atsuo who has the Compass Pokemon Nosepass. Ash asks for a battle with him and he agrees. The two go and have a real battle, but the splendid battle is then called off by Atsuo because of something related to the evolution of Nosepass.

So, Aipam and Buoysel are going to be traded after all. I just hope it's a temporary and that they'll re-exchange those Pokemon after Zui Contest. Or that both Pokemon realise they prefer to stay with their Original Trainers on the end of episode. I really DON'T want those n00bish dreams to be fulfilled.

Then Zoey proposes that Ash and Dawn try exchanging the two Pokemon as a trade...

So now not only it's confirmed that Buizel don't like contests and prefers gyms and Ash's battle style while Aipom likes contests and prefers them and Dawn's battle style (and all the other hints) but also we know Zoey will suggest them to trade
And we know Ash and Dawn will do the best for their Pokémon even if they'll have to leave them (and they won't even leave since Ash and Dawn are together at least for the next few years)
Can anyone still think the trade won't happen? but I still hope they won't trade in this episode but only later after trying to work with their Pokémon and fail

Ash and friends meet the Breeder Mr.
Ishisu

So Sinnoh has more than one breeder except of Brock
Yay

DP58: Ash and co. meet a boy called Atsuo who has the Compass Pokemon Nosepass.

I hope despite not mentioned in the summary that Honoka will also be in this episode

well...the Zoey's proposal part is actually not in the summary but was revealed by some Pokeani guy some days ago

original post:

So is it confirmed? or was it just speculation of someone?

Zoey needs to just join the group already. :p

"try exchanging" leaves open the possibility of the trade being temporary.

DP56: In a training, Buizel uses Sonicboom and destroys a stone tower by accident. Then from under the debris appears the Forbidden Pokemon Spiritomb, who begins to attack Ash and co. And then our heroes start the trial of re-sealing Spiritomb.

Me, I'd be trying to catch it, assuming that "Forbidden" thing isn't a legal rule.

Anyone get the feeling that the writers have no clue what to do with Zoey's character?

This summary sounds like Zoey plays the same exact "role" that she's been doing in her last 3-4 episodes! So she trains with Dawn and talks about the trade again, is this character going to do anything NEW for a change?

Yeah, the summaries sound good, but I'll wait the 2 weeks for the Aipom/Buizel episode, because I've lost alot of interest.

sorry... I'm afraid it's not officially confirmed...however it doesn't seem to be any speculation but a revelation to me.

anyway, I'll re-edit my post and clarify that.

I was just wondering who was giving training to Buizel at the beginning of the Spiritomb episode...Dawn or Ash

What's not to understand? Nosepass evolves at Mt. Coronet. If they aren't at Mt. Coronet yet, Atsuo most likely doesn't want to continue to battle on the premise of getting a Probopass sooner and not later. If they are at Mt. Coronet, maybe Atsuo doesn't want a Probopass, but will end up with one anyway.

"try exchanging" leaves open the possibility of the trade being temporary.

But why would they'll build that trade so much time from the Kanto GF (more than a year and more than the time they built Chimchar's catch) if it meant to only be temporary or even not happen at all?

Are people going to stop complaining and do something NEW for a change?
With this same logic you can say Paul is repeating the same thing again and again
And Drew and Harley too... and Gary...
Not to mention the Aipom/Buizel thing doesn't really count us Zoey's opinion on doing both gyms and contests... because Ash already stated he won't enter more contests and will continue only with gyms and obviously Dawn won't start to challenge gyms just because of Buizel... so if Zoey will suggest a trade she'll just help her friend to resolve a problem and help the Pokémon - nothing really with Zoey's opinion since Ash and Dawn will continue with the way they chose
It would be something to do with Zoey's opinion if Ash would decide to be a coordinator and Dawn to challenge gyms in addition to what they do currently but it's not the case

Is there really any other source they could get different summaries from? if not than it might really be only speculation... but it does look more like a summary (anyway most of us already thought Zoey will suggest the trade and wheter that was a speculation or a real summary she'll probably will do that)

I was just wondering who was giving training to Buizel at the beginning of the Spiritomb episode...Dawn or Ash

They probably intentually didn't reveal who trains it so we won't be able to know if they'll trade or no

The beginning of the Spiritomb episode (looks like he'll stay true to his evil roots) seems to hint at the trade going through, since I don't think Buizel would be training a move it's use over and over before unless it was under a new trainer.

Sounds like a trade happening, hehe I think its cute that Buizel is intrested in Ash training over Dawns. I can't wait for that episode, I hope the trade does happen there, Ash will be able to use the Pokemon in movie 11 YAY.

Unless it's Dawn who's deciding to actually train her Pokemon for the battle phases. Who said they HAD to use stylish moves. I don't remember Ash losing points for that, right?

They gave it to her, the writers need to learn to pick up from there instead of throwing these two around.

She train her Pokémon

Who said they HAD to use stylish moves.

They do have to battle like that in contests otherwise they'll lose points

He did

They obviously planned on the trade from the moment Aipom first appeared - it was interested in the GF

A point was brought up previously, isn't the entire Lucian episode now pointless if Dawn trades? What was the point in Dawn learning to control Buizel if she's not going to use it?

I am also still somewhat annoyed Buizel didn't even get to appear in one Contest before the trade.

That episode actually was another hint for the trade and I explained that 5645643 times
DP34 proved Buizel's style is much better suited for gyms and regular battles but not to contests and its personality sure seems to indicate it won't change its style and also Dawn used contest style to confuse Buizel and it really worked
DP35 showed that Buizel don't listen to Dawn because she battle the way she wants to (contest style that it doesn't want and confused from) instead its style (that more gym suited and therefore is Ash's style)
Lucian didn't teach Dawn to control Buizel but he taugt her that Buizel wants to battle likw how it wants and Dawn should understand this and let it battle with its style and not hers
But Lucian didn't know Dawn is a coordinator... so if Dawn must use Buizel's style and otherwise it'll disobey how will she be able to use it in contests if it won't be good there?

I am also still somewhat annoyed Buizel didn't even get to appear in one Contest before the trade.

One of the reasons I hope they either don't trade or trade and trade back in this episode and decide to first try and work with their Pokémon but eventually will fail and understand that the trade is the only solution to this problem

But if you noticed, it wasn't about a difference between battle styles at all. All Dawn was doing was calling out attacks; she went through Water Gun, Sonicboom, and Aqua Jet, basically all its attacks, and each time it used something else. It wasn't about battle type, it was about the rhythm Buizel was used to in battles in general. Lucian said that its up to the trainer to help the Pokemon find that rhythm and refine it into a usable battle style, and that doesn't necessarily mean it can't be applicable to both normal battles and contests. If I had to give an example, it seems sorta like the BF's battle palace, where the Pokemon fight on their own and use attacks according to their natures; some like to attack, some defend, some enhance, and some heal, etc. I don't know if that's the exact case here, but it seems like it'd apply.

Also, the writers did have Lucian say (at least in the dub) that he looks forward to seeing how Dawn and Buizel turn out together. If that's not a vote of confidence for them to stick it out, I don't know what is, and what kinda message would it send if they gave up trying to find a way to make it work?

One other note: a trade being the only solution to a problem? When has that sort of logic ever worked in this show?
