Sushi:
The summaries of the Solaceon arc episodes are out here.

DP060: Ash and his friends arrive in Solaceon Town, where they meet Dawn's childhood friend Kenny again. He tells them that he intends to visit the Solaceon Ruins, a place of worship for Dialga and Palkia. The group follows him and decides to have a battle in front of the ruins.

DP061: Dawn prepares for the Contest taking place the next day. Although the training flows smoothly, she has fierce competition this time, including Kenny and his new partner, a Breloom. Will Dawn be able to win her second ribbon despite dropping out after the first round in her last Contest?

And we know for sure either Aipom or Chimchar (or both) evolve in these episodes
And also that Team Galactic will appear in DP60

So Kenny has Breloom? Interesting, I wonder why they've giving him older gen Pokemon like Alakazam and Breloom instead of new D/P Pokes.

Man, I'm still conflicted on what outcome I want for the Contest. Dawn beating Kenny twice in a row would be lame, yet her losing again would be rather depressing especially after her last loss.

I'd rather Kenny prove himself to be a real threat and worthy opponent for Dawn and beat her, yet at the same time it would mean Dawn lost 4 out of the 5 Contests she entered. I really don't want to see Dawn earn two ribbons against the same guy. Man, its like lose/lose either way for the audience.

Either way, this should be a Contest worth watching just to see how the writers pull it off.

Drew got Butterfree (on his final episode but still)
Harley had Ariados Octillery and Wigglytuff
Paul seems to keep Ursaring at least since DP6 until now...
Brock's Bonsly was allowed to evolve into a second generation Pokémon and stay

The unofficial contest doesn't really count so it's her 4th contest
And now I'm beginning to think she'll lose... one episode only + she's likely to use Aipom for battles and those Kenny has type advantage
And while losing again may seem exaggerated for her it can also be first time we see the coordinator lose appeals and than lose the next contest... so it'll be new and also might give more character development for Dawn

I'll take her losing as the lesser of two evils. I mean, she's a rookie and should expect a tough road in the beginning. It's also an improvement over "Beginner's Luck Haruka" as Pokesho calls her.

Yeah, or even more better. Frank shows up and beats them all and gets the ribbon.

Habunake, get off your butt and make a picture of Frank holding a ribbon, NOW!

She could still beat Kengo and have him be a real threat. Remember, Harley lost to Haruka three times before finally claiming a victory of his own. Maybe Kengo will do something similar.

There would still be the issue of Hikari winning two ribbons against the same Coordinator, but I don't think that'd be that big a deal. Especially if Kengo gets his "revenge" later in the saga.

But May never earned two ribbons against Harley in the same saga, much less twice in a row. And unlike Harley, Kenny just doesn't have that same antagonistic attitude to make us excited about what he'll do next.

I think its better if Dawn takes another loss, because as said, it would be good character development for her and Aipom. I guess we'll see.

And they really did say in the preview that this is Dawn's revenge while they showed the scene she lost the appeals
This is the only thing that makes me think she might win but other than that it looks more like she'll lose

Then again, Hikari being able to win with Aipom would help justify the trade that took place a few episodes ago.

Even if she'll lose it won't be against the trade
Aipom would still get to participate in a contest like it wants
Same to Buizel and if it'll lose a gym battle - it'll enjoy the battle as Aipom will enjoy the contest regardless of win/lose

I can't help wondering if by saying "Dawn's revenge", they are just being really abstract about it all. I mean really, who could she battle and beat that would be considered a "revenge" win? Maybe it just refers to her placing first in the appeals round after a horrible performance in the last one. That would be "revenge" against her crappy performance.

I personally would like to see Dawn lose this one. It would be a huge blow to her ego, and she may begin to question her decision to be a coordinator. It could lead to some absolutely fantastic character development, and set up one of the best contests we've ever seen when the next one comes around.

And guess what?

No mention of Ginga!

That was just a fucking rumor which excited the naive fandom.

I think Galactic is 100%
The summary doesn't say anything about evolution but it's confirmed

This could give Breloom some on-screen vengance for what happened with May's Combusken.

What's next though? "Kenny's Porygon"?

The same post on Pokeani that mentioned Galatic also mentioned Kenny appearing...so...put two and two toghether Maxim.

To those complaining about the contest they could still have a once shot coordinator involved that could beat Kenny and then lose to Dawn, and surely that would soffen the blow as i can't see Dawn losing again.

so Kenny has a Breloom now...I wonder...

Well, Breloom only got one appearance really, and it wasn't that major (but it was a cool appearance) so it's better then him having someone like Scizor or somethin we'll see alot moreof.

Not saying it appearing is what's strange...it's something else...that it could effect.
