Dragon Warrior Monsters?

that's right, those old GB/GBC games that were kinda like Pokemon, but not so cutesy. the ones where you tamed monsters with meat, and could breed them from day 1.

surely I'm not the only one who played them?
and if you have played them, what was your team?

I had a Phoenix, Blizzardy, and I think a Unicorn as my team. but I couldn't do the after-game stuff because they stopped leveling due to me not breeding them much.

I played #2. I don't think I ever beat it though.

I don't understand how people say it's not so cutesy as pokemon. A slime is 5000 times more cute than a grimer will ever be. Still, I don't get it when people say that, Dragon Quest has always been filled to the brim with cutesy monsters. If it's because they die, it's silly because things Die in Dragon Quest like they die in Dragonball. (It's all kind of a farce in terms of being dramatic or scary)

Yes, I have the dragon warrior monsters games, I also have the latest one, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker in case you didn't know... It's a really great game that is worth picking up. I think you can get it for
