Dragonforce and the Pokemon Theme (Generation I)?

I have heard this rumor about Dragonforce doing the Pokemon Theme (G I).

I really want to know where this rumor came about.

The only postulate I could come up with is that the lead singer (Herman Li) in Through the Fire and Flames bears a VERY slight resemblence to singer in the Pokemon Theme (G I).

First, Herman is the lead guitarist and backing vocals. ZP Theart is the lead vocalist.

Second, other than someone thinking they sounded similar, I have no idea where that came from. Heck, when I was younger... I thought Gary's voice actor was the one who sang it.

Jason Paige was the one who sang "Pokémon Theme."

I too thought Jimmy Zoppi sang it as well because his voice and Jason Paige's are similar
